Check if the registration roller (rubber) is rotating smoothly. Check the condition of the registration roller at the horizontal transport section and clean or replace it. * If the error [E010] caused by a paper jam underneath the drum cleaner often occurs due to an insufficient paper separation from the photoconductive drum, set a smaller value in the code 08-841, and see what happens. At this time, however, pay attention to the transferability at the leading edge of the paper since this transferability can be slightly narrowed depending on the environments and conditions under which the equipment is placed or the media type of the paper used. (Refer to 3.6.1 in this manual about the details of the code 08-841.)

Toshiba e-studio 166 printing black pages when copying
If your Toshiba estudio 166 is producing completely black pages when scanning or copying, there are a few potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the problem:
1. Check the scanner glass: Open the scanner lid and inspect the glass surface for any dirt, smudges, or debris. Clean the glass using a lint-free cloth and glass cleaner specifically designed for scanners. Ensure there are no obstructions that could interfere with the scanning process.
2. Verify the scanning settings: Make sure that the scanning settings are properly configured. Check if the scanner is set to scan in color or grayscale mode, as well as the resolution settings. Adjust the settings according to your requirements and test the scanning process again.
3. Clean the scanning components: Over time, the scanning components, such as the scanning lamp and mirrors, can accumulate dust or dirt, affecting the quality of the scanned or copied images. Consult the user manual or manufacturer's guidelines to learn how to clean these components properly. Be cautious when handling sensitive parts.
4. Check the toner cartridge: If the printed copies are also coming out completely black, the issue could be related to the toner cartridge. Ensure that the toner cartridge is correctly installed and has enough toner. If the toner level is low, replace the cartridge with a new one.
5. Perform a factory reset: Sometimes, resetting the device to its default settings can resolve issues. Locate the factory reset option in the printer's settings or refer to the user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset. Keep in mind that a factory reset will remove any custom settings you may have configured.
6. Update firmware and drivers: Visit the Toshiba website or contact their customer support to check for any available firmware updates or driver patches for your printer model. Keeping the printer's firmware and drivers up to date can often resolve various performance issues.
If you have followed these troubleshooting steps and the problem persists, it may be necessary to contact Toshiba's customer support or consult a printer technician for further assistance. They will have specific knowledge and resources to help diagnose and resolve the issue with your Toshiba estudio 166.

2. Check for paper jams and remove any foreign objects: Open the printer's covers and inspect for any paper jams or foreign objects that might obstruct the printer's functionality. Remove any issues found and close the covers.
3. Update the printer's firmware: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates and follow the appropriate steps to update the firmware on your printer.

My Toshiba e-Studio 3555c is not recognizing my new yellow toner cartridge.
If your Toshiba e-Studio 3555c is not recognizing your new yellow toner cartridge, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Make sure that the toner cartridge is properly installed. Remove the toner cartridge and reinsert it, making sure that it is securely in place.
- Check the toner cartridge for any signs of damage or wear. If the toner cartridge is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
- Clean the contacts on the toner cartridge and in the printer. Over time, the contacts can become dirty or corroded, which can interfere with communication between the toner cartridge and the printer.
- Try a different yellow toner cartridge. It is possible that the toner cartridge you are using is defective or incompatible with your printer.
- Restart your printer. Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can help to resolve communication issues between the toner cartridge and the printer.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a problem with the printer's toner sensor or other hardware components. In this case, it may be necessary to contact a professional printer technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
Toshiba printer: PCL XL error, Subsytem: xlparse, Error: Input Stream EOF, Operator: Parser, Position: 18
The PCL XL error you're seeing on your Toshiba printer typically occurs when the printer is unable to properly interpret a PCL XL datastream.
Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart the printer: Sometimes simply restarting the printer can help clear up any temporary issues.
Power off the printer, wait a few seconds, and then power it back on.
Check the printer settings: Verify that the printer is set to use the correct paper size, paper type, and print quality settings for the print job.
Check the printer driver: Ensure that the printer driver is properly installed and configured on the computer from which you're sending the print job.
Try a different driver:
If the issue persists, try using a different printer driver, such as a PostScript driver, to see if that resolves the issue. Check the print job: Verify that the print job doesn't contain any corrupt data or unsupported fonts or graphics.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact Toshiba customer support for further assistance.
