Heater displays error code E06
Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.
Page 43 of your manual, found here suggests both E05 and E06 errors mean the issue is related to "...(the) fuel supply, thermal regulator, check for correct orifices, etc...". It also touches on the possibility that if the unit was converted from NG to PP or vice-versa that the orifices are not correct.
Start with these two areas...if you need additional assistance please comment to this answer with details from what you find while checking these areas and I'll try and help you from there.

Finally got my heater to come on and fire up but after about 30 seconds, it starts making a high-pitched squeal.
Firstly, this heater does have a toggle switch. Its located on the gas valve with "on,off" labeled. Dont bother looking for it neways, if gas valve was off the heater wouldnt have fired up period! You have either a gas flow issue, or a water flow issue. Manifold gas presssure may need to be adjusted, or whoever installed that heater didnt run a gas line large enough to supply adequate pressure. High pitch whistle sound can also be caused by water restriction within the headers. Raypacks are common to have same issue.
High-pitched squeal when heater comes on.
a high pitched whistle is a gasflow problem. usually caused by the techs who installed the heater who didnt ensure proper gas pressure supplying that heater. undersized gas line, or gas meter too small
Sta Rite 333 Btu Natural Gas Heater Maxetherm Sr333na Leaks water and high copper in my water
It sounds like your water has either been running at a low pH level, or you have a salt system. Basically your heat exchanger coil has dissolved into your pool water. The exchanger can be replaced although it is pricey. I would recommend replacing it with a cupronickel coil. This is far more resistant to the type of corrosion you have experienced. Just be sure to keep a closer eye on the pH also.
