How do I change a bit
This drill uses a keyless chuck. which means you have to hold onto the barrel by the end of the drill chuck. Then you need to put the drill in reverse to open the chuck to put a bit in. Insert a bit and then put the drill back into forward and hold chuck to tighten.
Slipping clutch on low switch with Milwaukee 2601-20
this tool has a 5 year limited warranty so I would try and have repaired under warranty. I looked at a breakdown and it doesn't specify how the chuck is on but I would to think it is threaded. the clutch is an assembly and there are no replacements parts other than the assembly available. Yes this does have brushes, they are mounted on plastic plate that has to be soldered onto the switch. That noise might be the vanes that have broken off the main rotor. If you open it up you will be able to see. Yes they can be repaired but check with the milwaukee agent for cost. Some times it is more cost effective to buy a body only. Brush card is cheap about nine pound inc vat.

If you mean the cord you can find the part number by going to milwaukeetool.com and you will need the serial number for the correct one. Or you can also go to ereplacementparts.com. You will need to solder the wire ends to push into the swiitch. To release the old cord straighten one leg of a paper clip and insert next to the wire and gently pull out the old cord.
