Check the float in carb my did this so i feplaced float then no more problems

You can have current reach the coil but if it is open or if there is an internal short it may also produce a weak or no spark at all. High voltage has to come out of there and it has to be distributed to the various plugs. You have more than one plug so check the distributor out also.

use a good quality 10w40 oil

is this the electric clutch thats boted to the engines crank? if so you just need to remove the centre bolt and stabiliser bar and chatter spring if one fitted, remove the wiring from the clutch and it should just pull off.if its a bit stuck on the crank then try tapping it with a copper hammer

Go to the mower shop......

Engines SHOULD use a little oil, otherwise the upper cylinder lubrication is inefficient. You could use an oil additive such as Wynns if it is smoking
