the most likely issue is fuel. Spark usually either works or doesn't. To test, try an axillary fuel source and see if the unit keeps running. Do beware of backfire risk, and an external fuel source can be hazardous. but all you may need is a squirt or two right in the carb, at the time it is wanting to die. if it perks up, fuel is your issue.So, normally that takes carb surgery, open, clean blow out passageways, BUT, one trick is to try putting your palm over the carb. inlet, again, at the exact time when the machine is shutting down, at the 3 second mark,. You want the most engine speed, cover the carb, sometimes this will clear blockages. If not, surgery. Look for particulate matter and sludge buildup. if you are going this route, also clean the fuel delivery hose and its filter.
