Believe it or not, Wal-Mart usually has a decent supply of replacement batteries for Timex. Give them a try.

The middle position is usually used for changing the day and the date.

Turn it clockwise for one and anticlockwise for the other.

The fully out position usually stops the watch and is used to set the hands.

the date wheel of your watch has a problem, it has to be fix by timex watch technician. or someone that is good in handling a timex module.

Usually these kind of watches does not indicate if you are on PM or AM.

My hunch is that when you set the time and it goes pass 12AM the watch thinks that it's just 12PM so it does not change the day. Technically you are 12 hours behind.

To set things right try moving the dial until the hand reaches full circle and it changes the date.

once it does it will give you a hint wether you're on AM or PM so you can set it back to the correct date and time.
