Replace battery rosendahl watch 43250

To replace the battery in a Rosendahl watch with the model number 43250, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Remove the back of the watch by using a watch back removal tool or a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry it off.
  2. Take out the old battery and discard it properly.
  3. Take the new battery and orient it so that the positive side is facing up.
  4. Place the new battery in the watch, making sure that it is positioned correctly and securely.
  5. Replace the back of the watch by pressing it back into place. Make sure that it is securely fastened.
It is important to handle the battery with care, as they can be damaged if they are dropped or handled roughly. If you are uncertain about replacing the battery yourself, you can have it done by a professional watch repair technician. They will be able to replace the battery safely and ensure that the watch is in good working order

How to set time day date on my timex indiglo cr2016 watch

To set the time and date on your Timex Indiglo watch with a CR2016 battery, follow these steps:
  1. Press and hold the stem (the button on the side of the watch) until the display begins to flash.
  2. Use the stem to cycle through the different settings: time, day, date, and year.
  3. When you reach the setting you want to change, use the stem to adjust the value.
  4. Once you have set the time, day, date, and year to the correct values, press the stem to exit the setting mode.
If you have trouble setting the time and date on your watch, you may want to consult the manual that came with the watch for more detailed instructions. If you do not have the manual, you may be able to find a copy online or you can try contacting Timex customer service for assistance.

Timex Expedition Indiglo light no longer works?

Replace the back cover with the arrow pointing directly at the stem. Everything should work correctly with the cover in that position.

Timex Expedition, beeps very quietly and indiglo doesn't work.

To clarify... Replace the cover with the arrow on the back pointing directly at the stem. The Indiglo backlight, alarms and chimes should all work when the back cover is in this position.

Need to change battery on TImex Expedition. How

The timex has a press fit back with an O ring to seal it. You really need a special tool which is like a large coin with a thin but strong edge that doesn't bend, or you can use a flat screwdriver with a 1mm end but thinner than the usual electrical screwdriver. You can grind down a cheap screwdriver, but I have had them snap on me in the past. If you look at the back with a magnifying glass you will see a bit at about five past the hour (with the "crown" button at a quarter past the hour) where you insert the edge of the lever tool/screwdriver. The arrow should be pointing to the crown button (the "winder button"). Replacing is a matter of pressing the back on. If your fingers haven't enough strength, find someone who has the strength - don't use pliers, hammers, G clamps etc. If you are careful you can place it face down on a thin carpeted floor, having removed any metal bracelet, and "tread" the back on. But no guarantees for this last method....

How to change a timex battery

There are two ways to find the user manual for your Timex watch.
  1. Find your watch on the list below and click on the language link for your manual.

  2. Find the 3-digit module number located on the caseback of most Timex products and click on the corresponding language link for that number in the Module Table.
If you are still unable to locate your user manual, you may emailTimex Customer Service or call us toll-free at 1-800-448-4639.

How do you get the stem out?

There is a small hole next to the stem insertion point on the movement (or groove) where you can see the tiny piece of metal. This is setting lever and it holds stem in place. Take fine pointed tweezers and push and hold on it (in hole or in the groove). Stem will come out while setting lever is pushed down only. In some watches setting lever is fixed by screw,so, you have to unscrew it and then withdraw stem.

Is this watch water proof?

mcdevito75 here, If your Timex is a quartz watch then NO, water will destroy your watch. If your Timex is a windup, it must say waterproof and even if it does, every 2 years it is adviseable to see a watch repair shop for up dateing the waterproof status of any watch. I would advise not to use your Timex in any large amount of water.

Watch battery replacement

I have a Timex Expedition Indigo with a metal case. Not sure of the exact model number but on the back there an M6 below Expedition. Anyway, I had the same problem of snapping the back back on. I found a "battery" website that had some suggestions that should be typical of any snap back case watch. http://www.online-batteries.co.uk/whichbattery.shtml specifically they said that when you try to press the back on it must be flat (not one edge down as I had been trying) Put the watch face down on a non scratch surface and press with both thumbs evenly. If that doesn't work a press will be needed. If you have a vice a couple of blocks of wood to distribute the load on the front and back may work, otherwise take it to a jeweler with the proper equipment. The thumb routine didn't work for me. I have a vice but figured many wouldn't so I tried something else first. I put the watch face down on a piece of wood. I found a small 2" long scrap of wood (3/4" x 1.5" approx) that spanned the back. I centered the back (aligned properly) placed the block of wood squarely and centered across the back and tapped the end of the block with a hammer. First try didn't work, second one did. I used a rubber mallet as the hammer but a regular hammer or other heavy object would work. The trick, I think, is to get everything lined up and square so the blow is centered and even. Also, I'd suggest cleaning the back and the groove in the case and be sure the rubber gasket is properly positioned. This will give you the best chance of retaining the waterproofing. And remember to check that the watch is running before you do this. Some need to be reset (usually with a very small screwdriver or pin) after replacing the battery. There should be a small hole with some printing next to it. You may need a magnifying glass to see/read it. Good Luck, Richard

Date and time on my new watch do not change

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like part of the mechanism has broken in your Timex watch, and, if so too repair it may cost twice a new Timex watch, chances are this is why watch shops have told you to return the watch to Timex, and without a warrantee, even timex will charge for the repair. Ask the watch repair shop straight out if it pays to repair your watch, chances are no. Also you can try to contact Timex online at Timex watch.com or by phone.
