most the time its a bad key pad when unit wont power on and what it cost to repair you can buy another one check the pins in the power cord see if there not broke or bent yes they break take a 12 volt test light see if you have power going to power in the plug that connects to back of unit if you have power . . .bad key pad

Sounds like you do not have your transducer connected. You will know it is working if you have a bottom sounding. If you have a bottom sounding (depth reading) and it is correct then you may have to fine tune the finder to see the fish. Hi Pieter The problem here is that the unit has no idea where it is on the planet. I think your best bet would be to reset the unit to factory defaults (page 11 of the owner's manual) and THEN use the setup wizard (page 6) to reinitialize the device. With your card in your unit follow these steps it should accomplish letting you view your map data. push MENU twice Highlight CHART push ENTER Highlight CHART DATA push ENTER Highlight LOWRANCE push ENTER. You will note there is an option for Lowrance and Navionics, if you select Navionics you will see a distinct difference in the way the base map displays on your unit. Hope this helps.

You can go to your GPS page and zoom out and then using your cursor pad and move your cursor so it is in the general area of your coordinates. Start zooming in andifferent as you do the the lat, long readings on your screen will become more precise. Continue to adjust your cursor position so the coordinates match up with known position you have. Continue until the cursor position on screen and your known coordinates match. Push "ENTER" twice. Your way point will be saved at the current position of the cursor. OR Push your cursor pad to bring up your crosshairs on the GPS screen. Save that waypoint, then go in and edit the coordinates to match your location data and save it. The waypoint you created will move to the new coordinates.

Water depth should show automatically on your sonar page. if it does not then either you have selected "stop sonar" under your sonar options or you have opted to turn off the depth displayou so the numbers don't show up. if you areally viewing your GPS or split screen sonar/GPS page, sometimes the depth display is not visible on these pages unless you specifically instruct the unit to display it. One of the settings is 180 degrees off. Go back through the manual and check all of your setup settings. I had that happen once to me.

Hi Toshio, I have the same unit and I am not aware of a sound period adjustment. The unit most likely needs a hard reset because of a software glitch. To do this hold down the zoom in and zoom out buttons while turning the unit on. Keep holding both zoom buttons until the start up screen is completely loaded. This procedure returns the unit to its factory settings and should solve your issue. Regards Phil.
