Needle and assembly holding bobbin are out of sync

You probably have several things going on. First--the motor does not turn the handwheel. Second--the needle/hook timing needs to be reset. You may just want to take it for service. However, if you search the internet for instructions on how to fix sewing machine timing, you'll find quite a bit of information and videos. As for the motor needing assistance to run the machine, could very well be that the machine has not been cleaned and oiled for a long time and the old oil has dried up (if it is a mechanical machine). You can do this yourself, but be prepared with plenty of patience and time: It was working now it seems to be frozen the needle part wont move ...

What is the bobbin size for the 7258 Singer Sewing Machine

Your machine appears to take the 15J bobbin. I have several machines that call for that bobbin, but I have found in all of them that I can use the Class 15 bobbins, also referred to as Class or Style A, as well--they're interchangeable.

Pattern selector knob won't turn.

Turn the balance wheel slightly whilst turning the selector, if that fails it will need to be physically looked at by an engineer

My fabric dosnt move foward or back wards with the petal or manually ..

if the fabric won't move then there is something wrong with the feed dogs, check in the needle plate to see if you can see the feeddogs. you should be able to see them & touch them with your fingersince they are not moving the fabric it would be a good idea to have the machine checkedI'm putting a link for a free manual for the machine, you can checkin the manual to see if it show where the feed dog lever is on the machine, if it doesn't show a lever, or the lever is not responding to movement then the machine needs to be checked to see what's wrong.http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/463_2932_esf.pdf

Whenever I sew the top

to see if a needle & thread are compatable, take a strand of the thread your going to use & the needle your going to sew with & put the thread thru the eye of the needle & hold it at a 90 degree angle & see if the needle goes down the thread easily

check the needle plate to see if there's any burrs or sharp edges & the bobbin case also

make sure the top thread does not come off the thread take up lever, cause that can make it jam also

it also possible that the machine could be out of time & would need to be serviced at a repair shop
