valve is bad................................. coil is junk. try contenuity on coil terminals

I would check pilot is clean and strong , check thermocouple is in good condition not brunt out check flame sensor is clean and all connections are tight .

if it is a buzzing noise it is usually not big deal. If it is truly a chatter, I suggest replacing as the electric coil is going bad.

if it is more than 5 years old , it is a distinct possibility
contact the ,manufacturer technicians /engineers and confirm the material used

Any one of the above can cause this gas smell, for goddess sake turn off the gas valve the oven you can blow your residence to pieces with a gas leak.
