Your remote need cleaning. There are improper contacts between the touch pad to internal carbon tracks. You have to open the remote control to do this. There is no user manual to this TV by net.

It's probably a write-off. The circuit board inside has been cracked so that some of the copper traces that connect parts have broken. This commonly happens around the area of the horizontal output transformer, which is heavy. The shock of the fall causes the transformer to bounce and breaks the board. Other areas too may have been damaged because of flexing. And worst, the picture tube can be damaged in a fall, so it either doesn't work at all or shows permanently distorted colors.

It's tough to find anyone willing to repair a set that's fallen. Many circuit board tracks are very narrow and hard to repair. Then it's difficult to know if all the damage has been found and repaired, so even if the set starts working a technician doesn't know if something else won't go wrong. And then there's that bad tube possibility; no technician likes to spend lots of time fixing a broken board only to find the set then needs a new tube. Trust me, this has happened to me several times during my career in TV shops.

Your best bet is to use this as an excuse to buy a new LCD or plasma TV. 40-inch models, a good size match for a 32-inch CRT (tube) model, are reasonably priced.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers and Driver downloads as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

its more than likley your sensor on your teli. try your menu to see if there is a manual or a remote setting that you can change.

Another one is:If you can get into the menu under "game guard" there might be a lock code , try 333
This works on panasonic tv of the same model, but then quasar is panasonic.

im a tv expert and we have always these problemes, what you should do is contact your cable or sat provider and tell them your problem and ask if they can reset you acount or code im sure they can help or bring a tv technician and they could fin dout the probleme CONTACT ME AT [email protected] and il see if i can give you more information

If the screen is dark, then the brightness and contrast adjustment must be poor. Use the MENU key (in the TV or the Remote, either) adjust the brightness and contrast as per your viewing convenience. Service manual for this model is not in my knowledge and you should not try to repair or troubleshoot it by yourself without proper knowledge of the circuit workings inside.

whats the brand name of your TV?

also try this, facing the front of your screen. locate a button indicating " menu" and click it.
once the menu button been activated there would be a display box indicating "AUDIO" "VIDEO" "TUNNING" or in some cases the screen will indicate one by one setting every time you press the "menu" button. If you'll able to find a display indicating "video" higlight the said icon and navigate throught it until you see the control for brightness. you can navigate the icon by pressing +/- channel button and to change the value of selected item you need to press +/- volume button of the screen.

its nothing really, if your tv is new then it is normal but if it continued to do it then its broken

if your tv give you that color or keeps fliking your tv screen might be crack or even the tv bolbe is burned get it checked out at a tv store

im sorry but to let you know diamond vision tv is a private tv company that why they are not listed in any universal remote codes because they work for them self and they think that people will stop buying there remotes and so they decide not to programe any codes for other remotes

You can certainly do this yourself. However take care not to break the tube neck when doing so and unplug from mains before you start. All TV'S can be opened by unscrewing the screws around the edge of the frame first. Then on the back panel you should find more screws that holds the AV sockets panel onto the cover. Once all screws had been removed, carefully pull the cover backwards making sure that you don't drop it before the tube neck is completely clear from the cover. Remove the playing cards and reassemble the same way, making sure that all sides are firmly slotted before replacing the screws again. You are correct in quoting "Fire Hazard". It is indeed. well it's not a wide screen tv show it won't really matter but if it is H/D you will find a red/green/blue connection in the back for picture and red/white for sound

did you try unpluging it for a while that uaually resets everything

might try to grayscale but that usually means taking the back off and making the adjustments

no model TV told at all.nor year made. 1967 to 2004?????? not sure what you are attempting at all first off there are no more VHF/UHF wide band TV now. its all gone. bye bye. HDTV yes , old analog is gone. buried. this TV is NOT CABLE ready, back in 1967 era,no such thing. make relic TV work needs a video to vhf channel 3/4 converter like old Pong or ATARI games had. yes there are converters. to do video to modulated channel 3/4 but not told at all what is your video choices,?sources. DVD RCA video jacks. cable modems do not have those. I bet you have cable modem or a SAT modem and converting HDTV to analog is wow hard. if not impossible one can record a video sources and convert it using PONG adapter. to old CRT motorola quasar. quasar Company ceased to exist in 2004. ! Not sure why anyone would want to repair a non hd TV as the picture quality isn't usable with modern content but if you're doing it because you like restoring something vintage here are some ideas. Some CRT sets use a pulse from the back side of the flyback transformer as a starter voltage supply, it needs this short pulse to start the power supply, it's kind of like starting a gas motor, the starter only runs for a short time then the gas motor takes over, this signal needs to be measured with a scope or a high end meter, this was a common issue with a lot of older CRT sets that use this type of power supply. I'd look at the start up supply as without that the regular supply isn't operatable.
