I have a problem with my Sony Bravia 32 inch lcd.

Hi man 1 Look I don't know anything anout these "boards", etc. Might I suggest that before you go into "BIG Bucks" Have you checked for eliminating possible things that can interfere with your HDTV. I'd suggest that you examine the lines that go and input your picture as a possible issue. I had this with my PC HD Monitor, simply by overlaying power cables, ethernet lines, or even power cords from things nearby. Also, if you are on the 1st or 2nd floor, what is under you ? Is there a fluorescent light box, proximity to the circuit breakers, you see what I mean? Usuall these HDTVs are very well made, & changing parts is "unusual", but hey I could be totally off 100% on this one. My name here should be " CHARLIE CHEAP" !! I hate parting with my dough, and when there's a problem, it's amazing how often "the darndest things" happen, that normally we'd never think of. I sincerely wish you good luck, and "Low to NO costs" ,OK? Geoff

Dear Ing You need to load new software on your board - this to enable the main board to read the LCD Panel ID in the set. Go to your local SONY website and search for a download for this software, make sure you download the correct software on to a USB drive. Unzip the file and keep the folder in the root of the USB. You can now delete the ZIP file and check that you have the bin file in the folder with the software. Insert the USB in the back of the set. Make sure the set is off while you do this. Insert the power socket into the wall socket. Check that the light on you USB drive starts to flash ( Twice ) now switch your set on and wait. You will see the green and amber lights illuminate to show you the software is downloading. The set will switch of after more or less three minutes, now the amber and red lights will illuminate as the set unpacks the data and the set will switch off again and reboot to execute the software. Once the set asks you for the language selection - You have been successful! Good luck!

How to disable shop mode

Hi there,

You need to reset the TV to factory defaults, then run through the initial setup again and make sure you choose HOME and not RETAIL as the location on the second screen of the setup.

To reset the TV to factory defaults:

1. Switch on the TV
2. Hold down the UP arrow key on the Sony remote control
3.While stillholding UP, press the POWER/STANDBY button on the front of the TV once.
4. Release the UP button

The TV will switch off and back on again. You will lose all of your settings and you will need to run the automatic channel scan again, but you will be able to select HOME as the location this time.

Please note: This question is listed for Sony TV model number KDL-32BX300. If you have a different model the reset method may not apply to you. In this case, try it once and if it doesn't work, please post back with the correct model number.

Hope this helps - please reply to me from within this page if you need further assistance.

BElectric

Our sony remote bravia remote

Hello, you need to make sure what is broken, the remote control or the TV. To check the integrity of the remote control, you need to broadcast from the remote control while he aimed at the video camera. If you see a flicker of light through the camera it shows the integrity of the remote control. In this case need to fix the circuit of the infrared receptor. If the remote control out of order can be opened carefully by a thin screwdriver, usually the causes to the error are loose components or contacts that are supposed to weld back into the board. I hope it was helpful!! let me know if you need further assistance.
