This unit, I believe is a piezo electric cooling/warming unit. It's possible that after or during your defrost, the control board was exposed to excess moisture... whether by condensation (sweating), evaporation or direct contact with the melted water. In this case, if you plugged the unit in before allowing sufficient dry time, it would have shorted your control board. Possibly allow the unit to dry (unplugged) for 24-48 hours and retry. If the same symptom occurs, replace the control board.
Hello there fridge keeps tripping power every time
If random then the compressor has earth leakage when under load. Compressor is faulty. If water flow is disrupted and water filter light comes on for replacement for ice maker/cold water then this can cause an earth leak that will trip the rcd
Defy fridge-
does he have any warranty of the rapairman there should be. if he did adding refrigerant in the system he knows there was a mili leak in the system so basically procedure must be done and such backjob result is prevented. tracing leak is not easy but customer are always treated properly. you may call him again and repeat the repair for he had taken your money.

Why is there water on top shelf in fridge
I would guess the fridge is not set level. A small amount of water is normally meant to condense and run down the back of the fridge and then evaporate outside the fridge.
If either the fridge is leaning forward slightly or if anything on the top shelf is touching the back of the fridge, then instead of running down the back of the fridge water may instead end up on the top shelf.
Assuming the fridge is still working in every other respect then this is what I would suspect.
