you need to download the drivers so it will be recognized by the computer. go to lexmark support.go to downloads section, find model number and look for win8 driver..
If you lost the original disk you will need to contact Lexmark. Keep in mind that most of the OCR software they license from other vendors so they may charge you for it.
On my 901, I can reduce the size of the PDF file by changing the "quality" setting in the scan mode. More specifically, reducing the DPI that it scans at. I also noticed that scanning a document to a wireless network computer, and then scanning the same thing again directly to a flash drive plugged into the printer, results in significant variations of the file size. Perhaps trying different combinations of these things will help you with your problem. Good Luck.
could be the document size or not enough memory or if you are printing from a network could be network traffic... try deleating the current driver software and reinstall the new software using the disc that came with the printer I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ron_9356d26241d4cbf7
Enter the Service mode following the procedure below. (1) Turn off the printer. (2) Turn on the printer while holding down the [Paper Source]key and [Informarion]key. *Keep pressing the above buttons until "Initializing"appears on the display.
Try turning your printer off and unplugging it from the electric outlet.
Wait about 5 minutes and then plug it back it. This should reset your
printer.****If you need any technical help on printer then you can reach at here
Sounds like a printer driver problem, Information comes from the dynamic link libary DLL for short, if your driver is damaged it will not communicate with the DLL, try reinstalling the driver and sofware.Phill
Refilled cartridges will not reset the ink levels. The printer will still recognize it as empty. Please be advised that refilled/remanufactured cartridges could damage your printhead and will not be covered under warranty.
INK PROBLEM Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.
