Infinity BassLink II Car Subwoofer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My basslink worked great, son blew fuse, replaced, now sounds lik
If the speaker has been overdriven, it may have damaged the cone surround or damaged the speaker coil, causing it to 'rub' inside the magnet. To check for rubbing, you need to move the speaker cone backwards and forwards by hand and listen where the speaker coil/cone goes into the magnet. It should be silent if ok. If you can heara rubbing or grating noise, then the speaker is damaged. If the output driver on the amp is damaged it can give a distorted sound, which could easily happen if it tries to provide too much current.

Fuse blew and replaced, now sounds bad, what
Fuse is blown because you may have bad DC to DC converter circuit (step up circuit from 12vdc to provide +-/- 30~40vdc) that supplys the power amp section. I can be that the output stage of the amp shorted out and it took out the DC to DC converter circuit.

Infinity Bass link keeps cutting out.
Tapping into front or rear gets high level signal 3 plus volts at low impedance which is totally unsuitable for the sub's line level input which is more like 300millivolts > A competent tech could make up an attenuator patch or just take it to a professional car installer before you do more damage

BASS LINK II Won't stay running when car is running
You have it wired to your accesories setting, you need to wire it to to your " Run " wire. Try this, Look in your fuse box and find the fuse that only has vultage when the car is on. Use a voltemeter. Then just wrap the wire around the fuse and insert it back in.
Your cars repair manual, If you picked one up, will have a wiring diagram in the back, where it shows the starting system, it will say weather the wire is "Hot" has voltage when the car is in the "on/RUN" position, or in the Accessories position. You want to plug it into the RUN wire so that its only on when the car is on and running, this way you dont drain your battery.
Make sur eyou have a fuseable link between in the positive wire thats connected to the battery so you dont fry your sub with to much voltage.

Infinity BassLink II Keepps Cuting Out!
Auto cut is due to overload, check out the wattage handling capacity of the Amp & the woofer( if the impedence is too low there will be an over load for the Amp.

Hartness 1:
[7] Left Soundbar Speaker (+) BR/YL
[8] Left Soundbar Speaker (-) BR/LB
[5] Left Front Door Spkr (+) DG
[1] Left Front Door Spkr (-) BR/RD
[9] Right Soundbar Speaker (+) DB/WT
[3] Right Soundbar Speaker (-) DB/OR
[6] Right Front Door Spkr (+) VT
[2] Right Front Door Spkr (-) DB/RD
[4] Power Amp Relay Feed DG/RD
Harness 2:
[05] Right Soundbar Spkr (+) TN/RD
[13] Right Soundbar Spkr (-) TN/BK
[06] Left Soundbar Spkr (+) WT/TN
[14] Left Soundbar Spkr (-) WT/BK
[11] Passenger Door Spkr (+) LB/RD
[10] Passenger Door Spkr (-) LB/BK
[04] Drivers Door Spkr (+) DG
[12] Drivers Door Spkr (-) LG/RD
[01] Power Amp Feed
[02] Power Amp Feed
[07] Power Amp Ground
[08] Power Amp Ground
The tweeters run in parallel off of the door speakers.... If I can help any more let me know.
