Kodak ESP5250 All-In-One InkJet Printer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My Kodak all in one printer won't respond to
This used to happen all the time when I had one. The best thing to do is to completely uninstall the printer and all it's added programs from your computer.
Switch off the computer and let cool down (have a cup of coffee) Now reboot the computer and then reinstall the printer and follow instructions to connect via Wi Fi
If this works make sure auto update is switched OFF as every time mine was updated your problem occurred. So much for Degreed wonders who try to justify their existence and completely mess up a perfectly sound working system when they don't know what they are doing, shame they never seem to have a brain or any logic.
Error Code 105-100003

Iff the printed page looks ok...job done. If still faint, repeat the above steps once more.
Not printing
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.
Cannot clear error code 3523
Had the same problem error 3523 that would not clear. Tried Kodak support with no results so took matters into my own hands.Noticed the top tray seemed jammed into the printer. Tried pulling it out but it seemed locked. Flipped the printer over, removed 8 screws, 4 metal plates. Removed bottom tray, set aside. Remove 3 screws for plastic bracket that holds top tray. Move bracket over, be careful not to damage wires. Remove top tray and reinstall so that it is in extended position. There is two notched in the side of the top tray. Extend so that catch is in back notch.Reassemble everything in reverse order. Take care that the top tray does not slide into the printer when you turn the printer over. It did for me the first time that the tray jammed again.Replug everything and startup the printer with top tray extended past bottom tray. The printer will tell you that top tray is jammed, push top tray flush with bottom tray.Printer now works. Don't know why tray jams in the first place but this solution can keep you from scrapping printer or paying for service.Very disappointed with Kodak printer. Obviously printers were not their core business and they paid a sub-contractor to build these products for them. My next printer will be an HP.
