My sub woofer making noise like machine gun w out connect toamp
Disconnect the sub-woofer and see if the noise stops, if so the amplifier is OSCILLATING and so produces the noise. This can be related to fault with the pre-amp or audio processing section. Try and heat up the circuit using a hair dryer and if the fault clears then there are faulty electronic capacitors. If leak is seen then the pcb must be washed after the capacitor is replaced which can solve the issue.
Is there a on of switch and is the green or red
There is no main AC power switch on the BU series; it's in standby mode whenever it's plugged in.
When playing music normal LED color should be green. After no signal for 10 minutes or so it will turn back to Red (Standby)
