Olympux sp600uz flash does not work

You mean, you see the flash logo on the screen, indicating the flash is charged, and then the flash does not fire at all? Or does the flash logo not appear on the screen? If the flash does not charge, this could be, because the batteries are low. Or when it takes a very long time before the logo comes on, same reason. If your camera is on automatic and you did not select flash off, the flash should charge, when you pop it up. The logo on the screen should come on, and when not enough light is available, the flash should fire when you press the button. Everything in the camera can go defective, but the flash on your camera is made, to last at least as long as the rest of the camera. So make sure you are doing everything correct (like in the manual) before you think the flash is defect. The manual is still online.

What causes monitor to have 2 large black circles?

The circles should not be there. The only thing in the centre of the monitor, while shooting can be the AF target mark. And somewhat down the histogram. Can you remember, if something hit the monitor? or if the camera was pressed into a bag, so pressure could come on the monitor? Because I think there is a mechanical problem. Perhaps you better visit a dealer or a support centre, so a professional can have a look. In worst case they have to replace the monitor. (When that is not to expansive)

I can't seem to be

Hello,
I do not know how you tried to unload your videos,if you tried with special cable of your camera sometimes such errors are inevitable.
therefore, the best way to unload the pictures / videos please try to obtain / buy a USB multi memory card reader (it is about 5,00-8,00 USD ) and take your memory card out of camera ,plug into card reader,USB to computer ,here it is ,your pictures and videos are there ( to be seen as external Hard disc on your PC)
After loading them into PC you can work/edit on these videos but you need a special video editing software. You camera CD may have it.Good luck
Regards.

How to down load videos from sp600uz to my computer

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and videos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

How can I repair a scratched lens?

Hi There,Repairing a scratched is the hardest lens repair to accomplish successfully. It may be worth a shot to check with the manufacturer if ther is some kind of warranty or replacement program. The best option is to replace it. However the cost of replacing the lens may cost more than what the camera is worth. With that in mind, here are a few DIY options things you can try that may or may not work.1. Scratch Repair Kit Stuff Needed: Digital camera lens cleaning solution, microfiber cloth and a Scratch Repair kit. Many companies sell scratch repair kits so there are several available on the market. Do your research to ensure it can work on, and is safe for your lens. Test it on an old camera if you have one lying around just to make the results are what you're looking for.a. Clean the lens with the lens cleaning solution, and dry it off completely.b. Follow the instructions provided with the kit.2. Rubbing Alcohol Stuff Needed: Digital camera lens cleaning solution, 3 microfiber cloths and a 3.5% solution of rubbing alcohol. a. Clean the lens with the lens cleaning solution, and dry it off completely.b. Dilute the rubbing alcohol by mixing 20 parts water to 1 part rubbing alcohol to get it to a 3.5% solution. c. Take a brand new microfiber cloth, dip it in the diluted rubbing alcohol solution, and rub into the scratch using a very gentle motion. d. You will know if this is working if you start seeing the scratch disappear. e. Once the scratch has completely disappeared, take another brand new microfiber cloth and dry and buff the entire digital camera lens.3. Vaseline MethodStuff Needed: Digital camera lens cleaning solution, 2 microfiber cloths and Vaseline.a. Clean the lens with the lens cleaning solution, and dry it off completely.b. Dab some Vaseline on your finger and fill the entire scratch with it. c. Using a new microfiber cloth wipe the Vaseline off very gently. Pressing too hard may cause the Vaseline to sink inside of the scratch. d. You will know if this is working if you start seeing the scratch disappear. e. As the Vaseline eventually rubs off, you may need to reapply some more and continue until the scratch disappears completely.4.Pencil Eraser MethodStuff Needed: Digital camera lens cleaning solution, 2 microfiber cloths and a new, soft pencil eraser.a. Clean the lens with the lens cleaning solution, and dry it off completely.b. Lighlty slide and rub the eraser unp and down along the length of teh scratch.c. You will know if this is working if you start seeing the scratch disappear. e. Continue rubbing the eraser until the scratch disappears completely.NOTE: Never apply the lens cleaning solution directly to the lens itself. Alway dab a microfibre cloth with the solution then clean the lens and allow to dry.Hope one of these works for you.

Usb plugin not working can't download pictures

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Why won't my Olympus sp-600UZ

Ok try this for you to determine if your memory card is defective or not, try to insert your card to a device that support the type of memory card you have. Then if it still doesn't work i assume your memory card is defective. But if the memory will work try to insert other memory card on your camera for you to determine if your camera memory slot has a problem.
