Canon EOS 550D Rebel T2i Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Camera turns off when I shoot a movie Canon EOS 550D Rebel T2i Digital Camera
This is also a guessing game. Your experience in the use of the camera? If you are new, I suspect the settings may have something to do.
One simple method to prevent your camera from switching off (timed out) is to do some dummy manipulation on any of the buttons on the camera while shooting. eg. press the menu button or turn the wheel every few seconds to keep the camera awake. Make sure the button manipulation does not actually affect the recording of the movie.
OR re-set the camera settings to its defaults - (factory settings)

52mm lens stuck on body,,how do you unstick it?
Normally, these lenses do not 'unscrew'. When you push the red button, it releases the lens catch and then you rotate the lens a short ways counterclockwise, then gently pull forward on the lens while holding the body of the camera and the two units separate. It is possible you have gotten some dirt into the lens latching mechanism. Try returning the lens to the locked position, press the red button, rotate the lens to where it stops and then returning the lens to the locked position and repeat several times if the lens does not lift out when you hit the movement stop. This may allow you to get past the dirt. Otherwise, take it to a camera shop, particularly if the camera is still under Canon warranty.
How can I put my Cannon $40D camera to IR mode to use a wireless remote control
The IR mode is the timer mode.. On top the camera press the AF button while rotating the selection dial. You see the icon on top the camera switch from a single square, to several stacked squares, then to a clock with a been. That's the IR mode. if you press the shutter button you active the 10 second timer, air you have a IR trigger the camera will receive in in this mode.
Why does my camera say "No card in camera" what's going on?
All the Canon's are having this issue. They should do a massive recall. I'm sold mine on craigslist. Canon will repair it for $220. The Canon t2i's are no longer even worth that. I think they've made more off the "no card in camera error" than selling the T2i's the first time.
