Dishwasher stops and displays SE on control panel.

SE is a drain error, usually associated with either a blocked or kinked drain hose, the drain its self being blocked or the empty pump failing.

LE is LEak warning. There are areas in the base of the machine where leaking water will pool and be registered by a sensor which will cause the error to display and shut the machine down to make it safe.

Not wishing to impugn your repairer's integrity or competence, but I would guess that you started with a faulty pump or drain pipe, he has cured the problem but not tightened up a seal which is now leaking and causing the new problem.

Short of a fantastically unlikely coincidence, I cannot imagine a scenario where the new problem would not be down to poor work by the original repairer. He needs to come back and fix his poor workmanship.

The dishwasher is leaking at

Hi

The issue is with the water not draining as something might be blocking the drain pump assembly thus the water is leaking. To solve this issue you'll have to take the front lower access panel out and then clean the drain pump assembly completely, also clean the impeller and chopper assembly located at the bottom of the unit. After this is done the issue should be resolved, if not then check the float switch mechanism and make sure that is fine. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

DMR78AHS error code HE

Hi, the HE codes refer to temperature errors. The HE codes refer to heater problems. These are all functional errors that require a certified service technician, but disconnecting the circuit breaker in the meantime can prevent the problem from growing worse.

I am a 30 year

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. I read your post and having changed a few of those myself and since you asked for "ideas" I do have an idea that comes to mind but first I need to know, are you attempting to snap the stainless steel ring under the filter ? Is that indeed what you are referring to ? In my experience and according to my samsung service manual, that piece must go in before or at the same time as the mesh filter assembly, but it wont go in after...not sure if you knew that so I'll watch for your reply and go from there...if need be. Regards, Macmarkus :) Regards, Macmarkus :)

When shutting the door, it rubs against the side.

If it rubs against the cabinet that its under there should be two clips that are attached to the top of the washer and is screwed to the underneath of the counter top. Take the screws out of clips and counter top and you should be able to move it enogh to fix the probels.
