I just barely had this problem and was able to figure it out. You need to hit the "ok" button on the side of the handheld monitor. It will only let you select "add camera". Hit ok again and it will give you a list of 4 camera's. Now at this point you will need the actual camera and handheld monitor. You need to hold down the "code" button on the back of the camera and select "camera 1" in the list of 4 cameras. This should sync it back and you should have picture again!

Ours started doing this, what we ended up having to do was using the camera cord to charge the handheld monitor. I hope that works for you!

kinda of a battery problem. see if it fixed when you replace the battery.

If the sending and receiving units are going through walls or one is upstairs and the other is downstairs it may not have the range you need as walls will knock down the signal. Sounds like your right on the edge of the range maybe try to move the units closer together if possible and see what happens.
