My Samsung dishwasher model #

Mine make a grinding noise also when the wash cycle starts. I had a repair guy over fixing my fridge and he said it was the washer motor. My machine has only been in use for 1-2 yrs. Other owners say that the tabs on the top rack break off and get lodged in the machine. hope this helps a little.

Heatherseems like the door seal

I would replace door seal and unit definitely does not need to be leaning forward. Leaning a little back is best.

No power

Hi,
The main PSU is part of the control board. You may be lucky to find an aged fuse to replace, but it's more likely a power transistor that's fried.

Unplug and remove the control board to see which bit's toasted. Chances are it's cheaper to replace the control board - but check the probable cause - the motors are not short circuited.

Samsung error E5

I don't know about a E5 error; are you sure it's not a 5E error? That means a drain error or "water not draining" error. Check the drain pump and drain hose for an obstruction. If that's okay, and the dishwasher drains water, then you probably have a bad ECS sensor. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

Why are the heavy and smart auto blinking?

That's an over-level water error. The case-break assembly is bad and needs to be replaced. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

My dmr77 shows low water levels

Make sure your supply line to the dishwasher isn't kinked or blocked in some way. Also, make sure your house's water pressure is about 30 to 70 psi. If everything is fine on the supply side, then it's most likely the water inlet valve. Try removing the supply line to the water inlet valve and see if you have grit and whatnot clogging the screen on the valve. If so, try to clean out the screen and re-hook everything back up and give it a test. If you still have low water levels, you'll need to replace the water inlet valve. Good luck!

I have an LE code

Try unplugging the unit for a few minutes. Then plug back in. If not try the Power button. I have an SE code (drainage problem) and my machine stops running altogether.

What are the common fixes for OE Error Code?

OE error code is an Outlet Error. That has to do with the drain itself. It can come up when the unit is draining slowly, it has nothing to do with water-level really. I would suggest makign sure that your drain hose is not crimped / crushed / or obstructed first before going onto other problems.

I'm getting an error SE on my samsung dishwasher during quick wash setting. Can it be fixed?

Thanks for providing the full model number. That helps a lot. I am assuming error code must be "5E". If so then that implies drain error. something is clogging the drains. Clean filters etc as per the owner manual and also check the drain hose for kinks. (maybe getting pushed to the back of kitchen cabinet) . If you do not have it download from this site. http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200903/20090304111128625/DMR77-00018A_EN.pdf

Water won't empty

I pulled the dishwasher , on the left side if it about halfway back down near the bottom you will see a plastic resovoir like , it has two hoses hooked to it , I took it off being careful not to break the seal, then I used a pipe cleaner to get the crud off of the float that is inside the flat looking plastic container . it works like a champ now !

Heavy light blinking in samsung dishwasher

I have the same issue and apparently it is indicating a "leakage error" as if it is leaking, you could disconnect and on the bottom of the unit will be a drip pan that can be removed with 2 screws, it may need to be dried out. It contains a sensor that detects water, may need to be dried out with a hair dryer. If this resolves the blinking light temporarily but comes back again, then there may be a true leak that may need to be repaired by an appliance technician.

The door falls

On on both (L&R) outside wall are strings and springs. The strings can break where they go over the pulley. You have to pull the unit out of the counter. May be screws on side or top to remove + kill the power to the unit. Then slide out about 3/4 way (first take bottom foot panel off and watch wires and hoses for clearance when sliding). Note the strings that are broken and look on net for new strings.

My Samsung DMR57 Dishwasher gives me error code

Our unit started displaying code 9E after filling, draining and filling again. At the beginning it was enough just to restart it. Finally this trick didn't work anymore. Before calling service for out of warranty I decided to take the unit out of the cabinet and start it. Of course this didn't fixed the problem. Then i noticed where the water comes in and I took off the panel on the left side bottom. 366571e.jpg
Under the panel there is a white box that has a floater inside. The floater is pushing a lever that actuates a micro switch. I noticed that the lever wasn't moving as the machine started to fill in with water. The lever was stuck. An easy touch on the lever fixed the problem and the machine started working. 677e4ea.jpg
I will put back the washer for now but if it happens again in the next future i'll have to find a more permanent fix.

Samsung dmr77 dishwahser not washing or rinsing

Not the same washer, but same prob. I lay a bowl on the floor and placed the out flowing pipe from the pump side and a load of old water ran off followed by the fresh water just added. I raised the pipe to stop the out flow and then blew down the pipe and heard the air bubble in the washer, so that was now free. I secured the raised pipe , then cleared the verticle pipe and bend to the waste junction to the ubend under the kitchen sink. It was the blocked verticle waste that had caused the problem. I replaced pump's out flow pipe and all was well. ?This kind of blockage might have damaged your pump, but like me, you may be lucky.
