Accidently put dawn dish detergent in rinse aid
Hi,
Get a turkey baster or something like that and pull it all out of there...then flush the rinse-aid holder out with wateer a few times pulling the water and soap mixture out each time so that you dilute the soap...
Then run a few cycles empty with no other soap so that you get everything out of the holder...
that will get you back in business...

Water pump leaking
If you remove the lower front panel, you just might be able to see the pump.
I surely hope so.
If you can, try to determine whether the pump is leaking or one of the hoses or the pipe fitting ( maybe brass).
If the metal fitting is leaking, you may need teflon tape to rethread it.
If a hose is leaking, a new clamp may help, unless it is cracked.
I guess you know most built-ins can be removed about 6 - 8 inches out into the kitchen for service and inspection. The hoses and wiring should be long enough to allow this.
Usually the built-ins are secured only to the counter top with a couple of screws in the front.
If you need a new pump, you can go online and get one from "Sears Parts Direct".
God bless your efforts.
Dishwasher isn't cleaning
There can be a multitude of causes to a dishwasher not cleaning well. First, check your wash arms - make sure the holes or nozzels are clear (not blocked), and make sure they are free to turn. Make sure you are not over-loading the dishwasher and stacking bowls on top of bowls. Next is to check to see if enough water is going into the DishWasher (DW). This varies with different models, so it's hard to tell you how much is enough. Also, what kind of detergent are you using? We find that powders seem to work better than liquids and gels, and tablets sold by Finish Corporation and Cascade work even better than powders. Next thing to check is to make sure the heater is working to heat the water during the wash cycle. (Listen for the soap dish to open, then open the door 10 or 15 minutes later and see if the water is hot.) If your dishwasher has a removable filter, you need to take that out and clean it at least once a month. And finally, if your dishwasher is all encrusted with calcium and hard-water deposits, you probably need to run a dishwasher cleaner in the machine. (Use Dishwasher Magic, or Finish Corp's Dishwasher cleaner, or Glisten, or even Lemi-Shine detergent-booster powder or their dishwasher cleaner.

The cleaning button flashes, not able to reset
Please remove the power plug and keep aside for a while as the main control panel buttons are pressed to remove any residual voltage on the main board / processor.
If this wont reset then check the input sections, the door switches, the drain filters, the drain pump. Remove, clean and reset.
If not there are faults in the mother board.
Kenmore dishwasher- only three buttons light up
Hi
First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump
assembly located inside the lower front panel of the dishwasher. If the issue
returns after its cleaned then try to reset the dishwasher control by pressing
the HEATED DRY button and hold it for 15 seconds, if its still not resolved
then it means that the control board has gone bad and should be replaced. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash model 665 1373 and it
Check the shaft of the impeller, the plastic shaft might be broken, it was the problem with mine. To get to the impeller you have to remove the filter at the base of the diswasher and after you will see the screw that hold the impeller assembly in place, unscrew it and you will see right away if it is broken, Good luck

The Kenmore PRO also has an Ultra Wash Filtration High Energy Filtration System that helps the majority of us with hard water. It features 2 spray arms, and a Turbozone that blasts away the most gunked up items you can make a mess on.
The Kenmore PRO also features 6 cycles. The High Energy Smart Wash Cycle is the most advanced and versatile. It actually senses the load size, soil amount, toughness of soil and uses minimal water and energy. The Smart Wash Cycle runs from 110 minutes to a max of 194 depending on toughness of soil and uses from 4.2 gallons of water to 6.9.
The Pots Pans Cycle also makes some adjustments depending on soil level and takes from 140 minutes to 203 minutes to complete. It uses 4.8 to 6.9 gallons of water.
There is also a self-adjusting Normal Cycle that runs from 110 minutes to 193 minutes and uses 4.2 gallons to 6.9 gallons of water.
The Kenmore PRO also has a self-adjusting China Gentle Cycle that provides a light wash and gentle dry for delicate items and runs from 105 minutes to 194 minutes and uses 4.2 gallons to 6.9 gallons of water.
It also has a 1 Hour Wash that runs for 58 minutes and uses 8.0 gallons of water and a 15 minute Quick Rinse Cycle that uses 2.1 galllons of water.
The Kenmore PRO also has 5 other options that are additional to the Cycles. Each option adds time and water to the selected cycle. They are:
TurboZone, HI Temp Wash which raises the water temperature to 120 degrees F, a Steam Sanitize which raises the final rinse to 155 degrees F, a Top-Rack Only Option, and a Heated Dry Option.
The Kenmore PRO also has a Delay Option that allows you to run the dishwasher on off-peak hours and delays the start time up to 6 hours.
I have not field-tested all these options yet, becaue I am such a skeptic -- and picky about my dishes, I usually go ahead and always use the TurboZone, the Hi-Temp Wash, the Steam Sanitizer, and the Heated Dry Option. But, hey if you are plunking down $1500 for a dishwasher--you should make use of all your options. I'll keep this review up-to-date as my dates with the Kenmore PRO progress with dinner parties and my very precious china, but for now (mostly because of the "ClangBanger") our good china is safely stored in the cabinets.
MY DISHWASHER DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE CLEANING MY
Your sprayer arms may be clogged.
The upper arm attaches to a tube in the back of the dishwasher. If the support clamps come loose, the upper spray tube will not be flush with the tube and can't carry water to the sprayer arms. Also the sprayer arms can become clogged with paper remnants, bone fragments, or pieces of peeling. You'll need to remove the sprayer arm and flush it at your sink. If there is a jet that is clogged, tweezers will help remove the residue.
Finally, the bottom of the door INSIDE the washer often get covered with gunk. Be sure and gently wash the bottom of the door INSIDE. You can open the door, spray some window cleaner on the bottom and then gently brush away the 'gunk.' Rinse with hot water from a pitcher or your sink sprayer and this can eliminate some of the residue that is showing on your dishes.
I hope this helps. If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my answer

I had that with my Kenmore Ultra Wash. I think is grease from a worn out or rusted out bearing. It also had an orangey stain making me think it was runsted out. I replaced the impeller assembly (cost about $30). Works a little better, but I fear the grease-gunk may have clogged up something else in the works.

first of all, you must check to make sure that the door is closing properly before you run it, and that nothing is sticking out, or trailing out of the door.
secondly you must never open the door during the running of the dishwasher.
check to make sure the drainage is clear of protrusions. use special dishwasher cleaning salt if you need to. to do that, you need to obtain the special salt and run the dishwasher empty, it cleans away all the junk blocking the drain.
additionally, the connections to and from your dishwasher could be faulty and or leaking. check the input and output water line connections on the dishwasher and their other ends as well.
MY DISH WASHER STOP IN
Hi
Check if there are any lights blinking or any error codes that are being displayed on the panel. If reseting the breaker didn't help then check the wiring to the power socket, try plugging the dishwasher into a different power socket and check. If this doesn't resolve the issue then it could be a shorted connection on control board or a wiring issue.
Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

perform a vinegar cycle wash in the dishwasher. Pour a cup of vinegar
into the bottom of the dishwasher. Keep the temperature at the highest
setting possible and perform a wash cycle. Then start using a dishwasher
most probably that would solve the problem. If this does not solve the
problem then there must be some parts worn out or faulty creating the
problem.
There are many probable causes of failure .
To
clean the dishes the water temperature is essential. It the water is not
hot then the dishes will not be cleaned properly. So check the water

Also check the filter in your dishwasher.Clean the filter if there is accumulation of debris in the filter
If you are in an hard water zone , then try reducing the amount of detergent used and then try cleaning the dishes.
The green clean button keeps
Your dishwasher will do this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water. Sometimes just a false reading.
Reset your console by pressing: high temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash, heated dry
