You have to hard reset your Xperia Z1. NOTE: Backup your files because a hard reset will erase ALL your data and settings (copy them to your PC or somewhere else). You will have to set up your phone from the beginning.
1. Open the SIM card slot. 2. There you'll se a little red button. Press it with a toothpick or something thin and hold it for 3-5 seconds.
If this doesn't work, try this: NOTE: Before doing this, your battery must be half or more full (as in previous method). 1. Turn off your phone. 2. Reboot phone by pressing the power button and volume up botton together. 3. Using volume keys, navigate to Wipe Data/Factory Reset and confirm it with the power button. 4. Wait for the process to finish. You'll have to set the phone up from the beginning.
Hi, do you mean sony ericsson xperia x10i? If you haven't already you will have to contact your service provider & request data settings. Some telco's let you do this on their website or you have to call them but they should do it automaticly when you first activate your phone. They send them to your phone via txt/service message, if you view the message it will give you the option to save or install them then check in settings that data is enabled & you should be good to go.
hi,
Different network operator's have different settings of GPRS. Therfore, contact your network operator and ask them to send the settings of GPRS. You will receive the Settings via SMS. Install the settings and re-insert the SIM. If they dont have the settings then ask them to tell you the procedure for creating the manual setting. follow that procedure...
Hope this has helped you..
Please rate the answer.
Thanks..
If you're trying to unlock your Sony Ericsson phone so you can be able to use it on other GSM carriers worldwide, then you would need the unique network unlock code that's for your phone only.
If you have a PIN number on your SIM card as an extra security measure, you'll need to type the PIN number in each time you turn on your phone. If you do this wrong 3 times, the SIM card will be locked and you will be unable to use the phone. In this situation, you will need your PUK code to unlock the SIM.
WHAT IS A PUK CODE?
These codes have been around quite a long time actually and PUK stands for 'PIN Unlock Key'. It's a unique code that is linked to your specific SIM card and is usually 8 digits long. Some phones may ask for a PUC code instead. This stands for 'PIN Unlock Code' and is exactly the same thing as a PUK Code.
WHERE DO I FIND MY PUK CODE?
The PUK code is unique to your SIM card, so you can only get this from your mobile network. Sometimes they will give you this when you first get the SIM card, but not all networks do this. If you cannot find it, give your mobile network a call and they will be able to give you the PUK code after you have answered some security questions.
To make things a bit easier for you, here are the contact details for the major networks:
Re-insert the sim and switch on. or reset the phone. If the problem persist, then it's an internal problem so u have to see an engineer that knows about it.
