I recently had this happen with an htc. first it was just the glass broken, then the broken glass ruptured the lcd. If it is just the glass, good news. I found it to be called a screen digitizer and I found one for your phone for about $16 and it comes with an installation kit. The LCD is beneath this digital glass screen, but only connected to it by a ribbon cable. here is a link to your screen digitizer. if you are handy you can do this fairly easily after a few youtube videos. otherwise you can order the part and take it to a local phone repair shop & they will most likely complete the install within 30 min.

Try doing a hard reset, it should be under settings and for the security code it should be 12345, 0000 or the last four of your number.
