the ms, 7xyz series is a relic all that matters is the size of mobo, to case ATX or microATX some or most cases (not oem) do both sizes and none told by you case , maker and model but just looking there under mobo shows what screw stub holes are there for both. or not. the power switch is just 2 pins and easy to rewire. the manual on both cover all that but no case told.

Go to the intel site. They have these audio drivers for all intel motherboards.

Hello thanks for asking,there are several reasons that can cause this problem,you should try plug your computer into a different wall outlet the present one may have a fault,{2) you can try using a different power cable the one use can be faulty,(3) you can check the connections to the motherboard tho make sure they are correct , the power connector and the 4 pin connector which power the CPU. This is an old motherboard, with this in mind there are a couple things for you to try. Power off the system and unplug the power cable from the power supply. Remove the left side of you're case. Touch any metal surface to discharge possible static.
First clear the cmos jumper on the motherboard. See page 1-17 in you're manual for the location of the cmos battery and cmos jumper. Also see page 1-21 to clear / reset the cmos battery. (Don't forget to set the jumper back to normal after 30 seconds.
Doing this will reset the bios to its default setting.
If you added a graphics card to one of the PCI slots remove it.
(For now).
Re-connect the power cord for the power supply and power-on the system. If the motherboards built in VGA controller is working you should have display on your monitor and since we cleared the cmos the bios will want you to enter the bios to adjust all its settings.
If you do not have display than the onboard controller is defective. You can add a PCI video card into any one of the 3 (White in color PCI slots). It’s not uncommon for the mouse to stay lit. If you're mouse is plugged into a PS-2 port try un-plugging it when the system is off.

make sure that your little speaker is plugged in to the correct pins. This gets many people every time. If the speaker isn't plugged into the correct slot you're definitely not going to get anything to work...yeah i know...a silly speaker...you can have quite a few things plugged incorrectly and things will still work but if you have the speaker plugged into the wrong one...then ur dead in the water...find the little cylindrical speaker and try plugging it into a different slot...really look on that board for it. Should be labeled JFP2..connect the speaker to the 4 pin side of that 7 pin connection.
