Sounds like you have a video problem. Is it integrated on the board or is it separate video card?

There is a hole on the front of the drive. Push an unbent paper clip into ththe hole and it should release the drawer.

You could have a bad CPU or bad RAM or a dying hard drive. It is hard to know for sure, but any one of those things could stop you from completing POST.

check ram and other peripherals. If not those then the CPU may not be seated properly or you may have forgot to put thermal paste between the cpu and heatsync hope this helps

Hello,You can clear the password with a program like active@ password changer. It is a bootable cd that will allow you to clear a windows user password. You can purchase it from their website at www.password-changer.com If you forgot a BIOS password, then you will have to sent it to Acer to have it cleared. They charge $100 for this service in Canada.Hope this helps!Joe

To the right of the Numbers 2 and 4 is a handle formed out of the Side Panel. This formed place is to put your fingers. The Side Panel is pulled towards the Back of the computer, using this handle.

First, there are two Philips head screws to remove from the back of the Side Panel.
One is right above the formed handle.

The other is located towards the bottom. The line from the Number 5 goes right across the top of this screw.

Make SURE computer is unplugged from power, and Anti-Static Precautions are observed BEFORE reaching inside the computer.
