These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. Connect your wireless modem into the telephone or ADSL capable line from your phone company or internet service provider (ISP.) Remember to place an line filter between any hard-wired phone and also the modem. (The modem will have at least one in the box, use it for the modem.) Open the modem box and read all the instructions carefully. Connect your PC with a CAT5 (RJ45) cable in the modem box to the modem... yes, you need to use a cable to set it up. This is bit wider than the normal telephone jack and there is a place for it on your PC called an "Ethernet" plug. The modem should have a CD ROM that will help you set it up. Before you begin, make up a unique, easy-to-remember name for your network, also think of a password that you want to use to secure your wireless connection. Call your ISP and tell them what the brand and model of your wireless modem is and they will talk you through the set-up at no cost. The key thing to have handy is the "Default gateway URL" This is sequence of numbers and periods between them that is absolutely essential to set up your wireless modem. If you don't have it, don't worry... there is a command prompt (CMD) that your ISP will instruct you to use to retrieve it after you have installed the modem's driver and are ready to set it up. Normally, the first 2 to 4 passwords required are to get access to set up the modem... using "admin" is just fine. (Passwords are most always asked in duplicate to reconfirm the password.) The important password is the one that allows access to your home or business wireless network. Remember to write down your username, unique password, and the network name for your network and the Default gateway URL so you can easily diagnose connection problems later. I keep this stuff in the modem box with the cable, instructions, and CD. Good Luck
Sounds like you have a loose ribbon connector. A bad D Board at the most. Anything else and your set would just shut off with an error code flashing at you.
Missing Vsus. Abnormality of the scan circuit output, the 15V_F, the scn_pro, and Vscn circuit. Loose or open Connection between the SC board and the SM board (SC41, SC42, SC46). Open or loose connection between connectors SC2/P2 Wrong diagnostic by the A board Defective panel
Please check these 3 boards for blown fuses, bad caps, blown/shorted components.
Power supply, Y-SUSTAIN, and Z-SUSTAIN board.
You should download any one of the PLASMA TV training manuals to learn how PLASMA TV works from the link below, it will help you to get more understanding.
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board. if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having. If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on:Basic LCD monitor and TV troubleshooting guide:http://www.fixya.com/support/r5093881-lcd_flat_panel_tv_troubleshooting_guidehttp://www.fixya.com/support/r6150077-basic_lcd_monitors_troubleshootinghttp://www.fixya.com/support/r7406380-tv_training_manualsFailed TV and Monitors: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budmLearn about bad caps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plagueParts: www.shopjimmy.comCapacitors kit: http://lcdalternatives.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx he can make you a set of caps.Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series. Please post back what you find. Check the Input Source: Make sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are using. Use the remote control to cycle through the input options until you find the one connected to your video source.
Check Video Connections: Ensure that all video cables (such as HDMI, component, or composite cables) are securely connected between your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. A loose or faulty cable connection could result in a loss of video signal.
Restart the TV and Video Source: Try restarting both your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. Power off both devices, wait a few moments, and then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches or issues with the video signal.
Check for Software Updates: Make sure your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be affecting video playback. Check the settings menu on your TV for an option to update the firmware, or visit the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do so.
Reset Video Settings: If you've made any changes to your TV's video settings, such as resolution or picture mode, try resetting them to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with video playback.
Try a Different Device: If possible, try connecting a different device (such as a DVD player or gaming console) to your TV to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the TV itself or with the original device you were using.
Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible there may be a hardware problem with your TV. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.
Check the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the power outlet. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage to the power cord or the plug.
Inspect the Power Outlet: Try plugging another electronic device (such as a lamp or a phone charger) into the same outlet to verify if it is functioning properly. If other devices work fine, then the issue is likely not with the power outlet.
Check for Tripped Circuit Breakers: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit breaker has been tripped or a fuse blown. If so, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse and try plugging in your TV again.
Test with Different Power Source: If possible, try plugging your TV into a different power source altogether, such as a different room or building. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the power source you were previously using.
Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your TV still does not power on, it's likely that there is a hardware problem with the TV itself. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to arrange for repairs. Be sure to provide them with details of the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.

The VCR and DVD recorder won't eject/open on command either, so my guess is the capacitors on the power board are dead. Upvote
