I also have a Panasonic TV and it has gone out twice. I was able to replace the first card by going to Youtube and Googling the TV Model number and the number of blinks. I was able to find the correct card number, I ordered the card and when I replaced it it worked. They are not hard to replace but make sure you unplug the TV and use a static cable which you can get at any store that sells electronics. Now it has gone out again, different number of blinks, I got the card and replaced it but it didn't work. I have an open question here as well about the best card to replace. Hope that helps.

Need power board. Unplug then Have to remove all screws on back. The big board that the plug goes to is power board. Get serial number and find on Amazon or Internet. Usually around 150$ replace. It is easier than sounds. Any time power will not stay on or will not come on it is the power board. Tics are now just like computers. If u can change a hard drive u can do this

Your unit used ceramic fuse.

Check the power sources.Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about an hour later for the tv to do a resetting itself back to the factory setting.The tv now could be working again.If not,the tv power supply board it is dead.That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Three blinks of the power LED indicates an over-current or over-voltage condition in one of the DC supplies of the AP board. The AP board is repairable. Therefore the use of an ohmmeter and peak-hold-voltmeter is required to determine the cause of the shutdown. An over-voltage condition is definitely a defect of the AP board. An over-current condition may be due to a short circuit located in the AP board, A board, or the LCD panel.

Could be a bad remote, that button isn't responding

I had the same problem with my Viera. if you disconnect the power and ribbon cable from the YSUS board (check youtube for how), the light led will blink 6 times, indicating the YSUS is bad. Check ebay for TNPA5175 board (about $115-160). The pop is one of the DG402RP chips burnout. These are about $4, but only available from China. If you can wait a month for delivery, you can solder the new one to replace the bad one. You may want to purchase several in case more are bad or it happens again.

That probably won't work. You'll have that problem until you get a new TV.

I would say that's pretty much had it ,if there's smoke coming from the back something has burnt out I would take it to a TV specialist to see if it can be repaired Nick
