you should have Phillips Songbird Software that came with your mp3 player that will do all the converting for you after downloading .flv video which you can find at this link . just find your player and click on it . on the next page under Product support highlighted in blue click Software & drivers . the next page click on the exe.

as for .smv format video sites almost all are .flv . so if for any reason you cannot find , or the converter software from phillips doesn't work for your particular model the 2 converter links below will work . you need the 2 converters to convert flv to avi then convert avi to smv . reasons being the smv converter only converts certain video formats . the two programs are free , and i tried them both and they work fine . the only thing is i don't have your mp3 player , here is a link for smv

Firstly, I'd suggest that you do a soft reset of your player. You will find the reset button next to the 'power on' button on the side of the player. Please hold the Reset button using a pen tip or other sharp object for 10 seconds. Now turn it on.

If that doesn't work, I'd suggest that you format your player or repair it using Philips songbird. Contents may be removed by using this function. So make sure to back up your contents.

Format:
On your computer desktop, double-click "My computer". Double-click on the MP3 player's icon. Right-click on the Internal Storage icon and then select "Format".

Repair:
Launch Songbird and then connect your player to your computer. Select "Repair" under the "Tools" menu. Follow the instructions given by the pop-up windows to perform the repair process.

Hi I have found a manual for you here: http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa4vbe04kn_12/sa4vbe04kn_12_dfu_eng.pdf It gives the details of the battery(page 24 of the manual) and on page 5 of the manual gives a series of diagrams showing the dismantling of the player to get at the battery. Obviously it must be replaced by one exactly like it to deliver the necessary power and fit in the space available. The manual is in Adobe Acrobat Reader format so can be saved to your computer for future reference. Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya Cheers

Hello. The best thing to do is reset it to factory settings. There probibly is a glich with it from downloading files. Good Luck.
