Hi rob5843,
This paper jam error is often result of one of the following:
1. The paper is too brittle. If you are using recycled paper the fibers can be too short to keep the paper together as it moves through the paper path. Change paper.
2. Something in the paper path, paper clips, gunk from labels. Clean the system well and look carefully at the edges of the rollers where scraps of paper may be lodged.
3. Dirty feed tire. You can turn the unit off, use a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol to clean the tire. Give a minute to dry, and retry. This is a relatively common fix.
4. Bad sensor. If it's a bad sensor it will not sense the paper therefore stops the rollers.
3. If that does not fix the problem, then you got to replace the fuser. This is done from the back of the printer, follow the instructions etched in and the unit pulls right out.
Hope it helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.
