I have an LG fb163 everything seems to function but no sound in the speakers
check mute button, source knob/button, speaker selection knob/button while its playing a cd or FM radio. Also if you have connected headphones the speakers would mute. Check the speaker connections. If the speakers are powered you need to connect them to a power source. If all these fail to produce sound consult a technician.

Lg fb162 region code locked
1. Press "On" on the unit
2. "No disc" will appear
3) Press "pause" on remote
4) Press "1472"
5) pressing "preset+" on remote five times go to the fifth group
6) edit the 5th number group in the code
the first number is the region code
eg. if the number is "12" then the region is set to 1
if the number is "42" then the region is set to 4
so if you want all regions set it to "02" by pressing 02 on the remote
7) when finished press "select/enter"
8) press "pause" again to exit from the menu
9) power off the unit and turn back on again.

How do I get it to move on single MHz, at present it goes from say FM 98.50 to FM 98..55 Thanks
I don't think it would make a lot of differance if you did get it to move to say to 98.56 as most radio stations don't use anything smaller than XX.5 If you are trying to get a weaker station tuned in that is at the side of a more stronger station, then what you need is either a signal booster or a better aerial. Having said that the station might have the same frequency as the other station, because it's a local station to an area that you are just on the edge of it's range.

you will need rca leads, they are red and white, and go from the audio out on your tv to the audio in on your stereo which are colour coded red and white, if your tv and stereo are digital you can get a digital lead also

use the track forward and back to set the type (12 hr or 24 hr)..
press set.
