My onkyo reciver is stuck on auto sp set up

You should reset the amp to factory default to see if audyssey disappear. Unfortunately, over 90% using reset to kick audyssey out does not work. What can I do? Calling onkyo to repair is the only option. Never use this function, wifi and bluetooth in onkyo av-amp except warranty is not expired.

I have an onkyo tx-nr636. Is it possible to pair bluetooth headphones?

No, you cannot do this. Onkyo is just a "receiver" to receive signal not a "transmitter". The receiver requires a "host" to send signals via bluetooth to it in order to playback instead of sending signal to another receiver, your bluetooth headphone. Bluetooth earphone also needs a host (a smart-phone)to send signal to it to playback for you. Any attempts to ask onkyo receiver to send signal via bluetooth will be in vain.

My onkyo tx-v940 has very low volume. Has anyone had that issue before? How did you resolve it? Is there a reset option on this unit?

My onkyo tx-v940 has very low volume. You shouldCheck the voltage supply to both +B and -B voltage. If both voltages are low, the voltage amplification via differetial and voltage amps will be low. Finally, low Volume due to power = VI. If V is low, so does powerOutput. The negative voltage can also be measured as that of +B with black probe clamped to heat sinkby a crocodile clip.6977e902-8520-4594-86f0-eb3d35bd2b72.jpgschematic. jpg-5pfgdpze0xsybax2zren2sji-2-2.jpglarge capacitors-5pfgdpze0xsybax2zren2sji-2-3.jpg

My onkyo ht r530 won't power on what could I do

Download HTR530 Service manual. How to measure voltages?(a)connect the black probe to the heart sink via acrocodile clip. Heat sink can be found easily if you are looking for 12 power transistors.(b)the red probe can connect to any interested points, for example, the POFF (see video1)Check voltages first: POFF(must have. And check 3 components circled in blue see video 1 the last measured voltage) ,10VS (must have)and 12V and also the MPowerd voltage (see video 1) Video 1 shows the MPowerd voltage The lst measured voltagethe - MPowerd voltagemust be ZERO when the amp is switched ON.. Are these voltages present? If so, check reset or you can replace them directly (circled in yellow See video2 and video3)Plug the amp, to see if it is working. If not ,replace 3 components circled in red.If not working again, you can replace the crystal X701,a component 6 MHz, not easily damaged (see video4).If also not working, CPU is torn out.7e428cc5-5b4c-4c0b-8d4e-4efa116156ca.jpg

I have an Onkyo TX-SR576 and the Digital Optical Audio Cord won't stay in the receiver - thus no sound. Just hoping to fix it - So if you can, any pointers would be great.

Have you tried replacing the cord? If a new one doesn't work, then it sounds like the socket is just damaged, or has something stuck inside it! In which case the socket would need to be replaced, if broken.

I have a Onkyo HT-r500 that continues to cut off as soon as it is powered up, how can I fix it?

It might be detecting an overload on the power amp stages. Check all you speakers and cables, even if you haven't got anything connected to it, as one of them might have caused the fault in the first place. You will need to check all the output devices (located on the big heat sink) for shorts.

When connecting AT-LP120 Audio technica turntable to Onkyo stereo receiver TX-8140 I get distorted sound - the turntable came with set cables installed to connect. How do I resolve this problem

hi, instead of plugging your turntable into "phono in" on the amp just try a regular auxilary input like aux ,video, or cd. sounds like the turntable output isnt like the old ones and may be just a regular output.
