My onkyo ht r530 won't power on what could I do
Download HTR530 Service manual. How to measure voltages?(a)connect the black probe to the heart sink via acrocodile clip. Heat sink can be found easily if you are looking for 12 power transistors.(b)the red probe can connect to any interested points, for example, the POFF (see video1)Check voltages first: POFF(must have. And check 3 components circled in blue see video 1 the last measured voltage) ,10VS (must have)and 12V and also the MPowerd voltage (see video 1) Video 1 shows the MPowerd voltage The lst measured voltagethe - MPowerd voltagemust be ZERO when the amp is switched ON.. Are these voltages present? If so, check reset or you can replace them directly (circled in yellow See video2 and video3)Plug the amp, to see if it is working. If not ,replace 3 components circled in red.If not working again, you can replace the crystal X701,a component 6 MHz, not easily damaged (see video4).If also not working, CPU is torn out.

What is the problem of my Onkyo TX-SR505, front left speaker s not working
Bad contact of RL6600. You can exchange RL6600 with RL6603. (Unplug the amp. Remove RL6600 and install RL6603)Left and right speakers will get sound while RL6600 won't . Problem is RL6600. Download TX-SR505 service manual and see P.44. If You can open RL6600, remove black oxide on 4 contacts of RL6600. Problem can be fixed.

Can I connect a ProsoundL10AN graffic equaliser to my Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver
Only if there is a suitable output from the receiver and a suitable input to the graphic equaliser. You will need to read the specs for both and ensure they are matched for sensitivity and if possible also for impedance - even using standard line out/line in sockets (if fitted) can sometimes have a large disparity with typical output level/input sensitivity of anything from half a volt to around two volts.

5.1 onkyo receiver model tx-sr304e should the output voltage measured at the speaker terminals with volume at zero be O to 20 millivolts ?
Thanks
Jeff G
using a voltmeter to detect DC output protection in each channel or speaker, spk, terminal, you were using a WRONG METHOD. Before DC able to come out of each spk terminal, DC protection will be triggered with all spk relays in OFF state. A spk connected to defected spk terminal will be damaged due to DC output, otherwise. Your method won't help you to locate any faulty DC output channels nor to fix DC protect in Onkyo AV amp. A special method is needed with metal caging of av amp removed. Write down your email here if you want to DIY.Besides, I've deleted the email written on SR600 Capacitor replacement on you tube.
