Lose signal and when signal comes back in, it

Is it possible that you antennae if faulty. Please check if the insulatiion is weak or the antennae is shorting to ground. This can make the signals go bad and make the set hunting and go back to search mode .If the antennae is fine then the problem could be in the front end stage of the tuner. You will require an expert probe to look for signal weaking in this stage but if you can open the set and cean and solder the areas closer to the antennae output. hope this helps. Good day

Power on, Keep tray closed, press setup on remote and press 0086000 you will see region free in lower left corner, power off.

or

Remove any discs from the player. Press the Setup button on the Remote. Then, again using the Remote, type in the number 1379. A menu where you can change the region code appears. Change the region code to zero to play all discs from anywhere

if those fail then

Open tray
Press 2812 on remote control.
A menu will appear on the screen.
Press ok button until region 9 is displayed or 0 is displayed or region 2 as well..

IF those fain then u need to email audiovox and request the instructions to change the players regions.. PS.. they will require serial number and where u brought it from..

Have a audiovox remote alarm

Hello,

A car alarm that won't stop can be a frustrating thing for a car owner and anyone within earshot of the alarm. Turning the alarm off without your remote may not be as easy as using the remote, but it can still be accomplished.

If the button for dis-arming the alarm on your remote is not working, it is possible that the battery for the remote is dead, that's why the button is not responding. You can check the manual for your audiovox as it should state something about this.

Follow the below steps on how to disarm your car alarm without the remote control:
  1. Use the key to unlock the driver's door from the outside. Often this will work with the passenger door or the trunk as well, although it will not work with every car or every alarm.
  2. Place the car's key in the ignition and turn the car on to shut off the alarm.
  3. Use a keyless-entry remote to unlock the car doors. Often the keyless remote, even if it is not connected to the car alarm, can stop the alarm through unlocking.
  4. Use a keyless-entry remote to automatically start your car. Like putting the key in the ignition, starting a car disarms the alarm because alarms are not made to go off while the car is running.
  5. Find the alarm component within your car's inner frame and disconnect the alarm wires from the alarm system. Cut the alarm wires about 1/2 inch from the alarm system.
Good luck.

HOW TO INSTALL A FM DIRECT ADAPTER ON A 2002 FORD

You need to find a 'break' in the antenna cable to put the FM direct inline. In SOME cars, if you remove the glove compartment you can see the antenna cable and 2 connectors where it connects inside the dash behind the glove compartment. That is a perfect spot for tying-in the FM Direct. IF not, you have to pull the whole radio out and connect between the radio and the incoming antenna cable. You may need an adapter as almost every manufacturer since GM in 1989 started making their own bastard antenna plugs and jacks instead of the standard universal "Motorola Plug" antenna jack that was used for 40 years, and is used in and out of the FM Direct. Let me know if you need more help.

I have an error 13 on my cd player model# ECDA-28

Hello DH4379,

ello, i am a lexus cd changer expert. i suspect he put 2 cds in 1 slot. if you can get the cd tray back in the magazine than you can use the manual eject button. try shutting off the cd changer when the cd is back in the magazine. then you can use the manual eject button on the bottom of the changer which is in a hole in the bottom. use small screw diver to eject the magazine .you will have to remove the faceplate and the changer from the dash to be able to do the manual eject. if you force out the magazine it will ruin the 700 pounds cd changer. hopefully once you manually eject the magazine you can relieve the magazine malfunction.i have email pictures on how to remove the changer from the dash . please send your email address and i will email the onformation. it is not difficult to remove the changer you just need to know where the scres and the spring loaded pop outs are.

Thanks.

I have no sound card driver name Realtek_5548

Hi.

The problem has been listed in the wrong category and with no model number.

If we are talking about a laptop, you should download drivers using computer model, and getting the file from laptop manufacturer website.

Same on a desktop. If the desktop is a no-brand, then you must download the file from motherboard manufacturer website.

Drivers available from Realtek support may work most of the times, but some computer will need the manufacturer customized version of Realtek files.

Here the generic download page: Downloads - Realtek

The drivers for 5548 are included in the High Definition Audio Codecs (Software) package. Download and install it. If it does not work, get drivers from computer manufacturer website.

Regards.

Ginko.

My XM radio (XpressRC) display backlight stopped working.

I had to send my first one in when it did the same thing. I had to suspend my xm service while I waited for Audiovox to decide if they were going to warranty it. It took two months. Now the one they sent me did the same thing! There is no way to fix it according to audiovox you have to send it in.

What could be the Security Code of my Eurovox

If it asks for the security code...it means that either you have bought it second hand..and it asks for a 6 digits pin ....and in this case the only simple solution is to call the previous owner...or..if you do not have this posibility ..it will cost you a little ..but on this kinda devices the security is set on the first usage and it is stored in a flash chip that will never can be reset by removing batteries or stuff like that ...and the only way around is to get it to a repair shop and remove the chip ..and put another one ...even second hand if will give you the code..
Another way it may be to contact the manufacturer and give them the serial from the product and they to supply with a backdoor code..that will allow you to get in an change this one ...BUt , I had this kinda problems before and the conclusion was that is cheaper and faster to change the memory chip ..Im not sure what will ask in your area for this operation ...but you just ask ..and if t is worth doing do it ..cause it 's the fastest way ..
