Wendell, is lap top also blue tooth. First you need to turn Bluetooth on in your laptop. Begin with the headset off, now press and hold the control button for approximately ten seconds(led will flash blue). Continue holding button until led flashes red then blue, release button. The headset must be put into pairing mode. Once you make your phone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 230 headset into pairing mode by pressing the call control button until it flashes red and blue. It almost sounds like you are rejecting a call, and when that happens you will send it to voice mail. It says that if you are tapping twice, it will sens it.
