There's no 'HD Mode' , but you can change how it looks. Pause the game and go to 'Video Settings'. Turn on 'Fancy Graphics'.

Unfortunatley these are available only with the dealer which needs to be ordered and will not be availabe on shelf on any local stores.
Contact dealer or service point for Jazz.

The solution for that is to use a removable memory and store the files there. There is not enough built in memory on your camcorder so it cannot store photos or files. I hope this advice help you solve your problem in camcorder.

I couldn't find one anwhere on the net, so that means you will have to hope you can get one from Jazz. Some blogs said their support was poor, with no way of contacting them. I tried a suggested link and it was blank, and google search didn't help. Refer to any literature or manual for possible support.

Consult the camera manual and find out if this camera has a re-set button.
If so, follow the directions in the manul to re-set.
If not, a trained tech is the next stop.

It sounds like a faulty capacitor in the circuitry of your camcorded
Capacitors store voltage to run motors that need a higher voltage than what the battery output is. In other words it has a higher voltage rating. When a capacitor is faulty a hairline crack can be visible on the side of it causing it to lose its power to store concentrated voltage needed to operate the camera motor. That is when the item fails to work an plainly quits on you. I suggest to get an estimate of repairing it first. Most can give you an educated guess on the phone. It may be more pheasible to replace it with a new recorded instead.

i lost my charger for my jazz hdv 178 camera and i dont know how much another one will cost,do you know how much they cost and where i can probably get one.

it will not charge with a USB cable
the company that made them went out of business.
therefore there is no support or chance to get parts
i went to a ebay store called suntek and bought a charger, 2 batteries for less than $7
and they all work
just go to the suntek store and look for a np 60 type charger.
this is the battery type and it will work.
