File 5391ada02 can't be found....monitor is black
Pick up a second hand monitor, test your system to see if a signal comes through i.e. you have image on screen. before you do a recovery, perform a back up and restore, to a previous date & time. You may just have a bad monitor.

Power button blinks, nothing powers
A blinking power button generally means the computer is in sleep, hibernation type mode. If pressing keys or moving mouse does not wake the computer, PRESS AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON IN FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS. This will force the computer to shut off. Then press the button again and the computer should start up and go through the "restarting windows" routine. If your computer continually will not wake up from sleep, disable these modes in the Power settings of control panel. If you don't know how, post question stating operating system and someone will be able to give instructions, or you could just "google" for them.

Emachines t3642
Emachines are notoriously infamous for the lack of available documentation. Sometimes you can fine a "user manual", but these are often next to useless as a service guide. In this case a search of the net did not even find a "user manual". I suggest you contact eMachines directly and ask them. Good luck.

My laptop is makeing a screeching noise
A mechanical screeching noise would most likely be caused by the cooling fan in your laptop. Repairing laptops is labor intensive and eMachine parts are not always available. You didn't give model information, so I could not search for the part. Previous experience working on laptops is recommended before attempting this kind of repair. If the correct part can be purchased, they are generally one of the more easily replaced parts as they generally just "plug in" and video's may be available to help you with the repair. Again, previous experience working on laptops is recommended.
