Hi
The smell usually comes
when the washer is unable to drain water completely, you can run your washer at
its hottest temperature setting with 1 cup of vinegar inside the unit. After
this take off the bottom front panel and clean it completely, also clean the
drain hose and drain pump filter, the smell should disappear after doing all
this. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have a Kenmore elite washer he3t model 110.4674
F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.
If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.
With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.
If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.
Also - please be sure to use He soap.

Sud and then f35 code
Hello,
to get picture of where the parts are go to searspartsdirect.com and enter your exacy model#
Now then the suds means basically that the washer didn't fully drain and the F35 means that water wasn;t detected entering the washer at the start of a new load...if all the water disnt drain it wont fill so what the biggest problem when that happpens and it wont drain is a blockage in the drain pump filter..here is what you do to check the filter screen for blockage is;
unscew a little, use towels/tupperware tubs to drain ALL water..once all water out unscwer completly and check for blockage
After pressing start for wash
The problem is that deterget drawer is plugged up. Removing it and cleaning it out will make your washer operate again
F21 code appears on washer,
Hi
F21 error means that the drain time has exceeded 8
minutes; this will turn off the water valves. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to
clear the display. If errors still remains then please check the drain hose and
make sure it is not plugged or kinked. Disassemble the washer by removing the
back from the washer and check the electrical connections at the pump and make
sure the pump is draining. Also inspect the pump filter for foreign objects.
Before disassembling remember to turn off the power and disconnect the washer.
If it still doesn't help then there is an issue with the pump and you'll need
to replace it. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more
information.

Suds code then F35
Hi
Error
code F 35 indicates ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE. There is any malfunction of the
component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board. Please check whether the
pressure hose is fixed firmly, and the air trap is not blocked. Make sure the
hose is not plugged. If this doesn't resolve the issue then it is a problem
with the water level pressure switch operation. There could be a blockage in
the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of
the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome is
clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure
switch, you would need to replace it. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Sud appears, followed by F35
Hello & Welcome to FixYa
F35 error means that there is some sort of problem with the steamer electronic board and analog pressure sensor has gone bad.
Check that the hose is firmly attached with the washer and is not blocked. You
can also check the water level pressure switch operation. Please get back to me
if you have any other questions.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Whirlpool (Kenmore) 'F16, 18, 20, 21 and 22' all refer to 'control unit failure I'm afraid. Sounds like a service call is required, sorry ;-0(

Wont start cycle
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
With not much information to go on (!), I can offer 2 possibilities:-
If there is power on the machine check the water supply first-
If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(
If there is no power indication-
Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens, or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place, sorry but with such a fault it is virtually impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.
I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.
If these have assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Whom can I call to
look in your local phone book and finda service company, however having been in the repair business for 30 years this is no way i would have that control in stock and would to order it since it is model specific and expensive i would never stock it,thusly all my counter parts would do likewise and very unlikely anyone will have it in stock
Washer stops and f 35 comes on.
F 35 is a pressure sensor failure. You may be able to get one from the manufaturer or an appliance repair shop.
Depending on how good you are with tools this can be replaced. If not you will need service.
I keep getting a SUD error, I have stopped the
This code indicates that an apparent sudsing condition is detected. It happens when a non-HE detergent is used. Run a cycle without detergent or allow the machine to fill then drain it to make sure suds are removed. The problem is in draining if the code still flashes even no detergent is used.
Unplug
the machine or disconnect power then remove the three screws attaching
the bottom of the lower front access panel and pull the panel down and
off. Once the panel is off, you'll find the drain filter attached to the
drain pump.
Place
a container or a piece of towel underneath the filter to catch
spillage. You may need to drain the water from the machine by putting
the end of the drain hose over a container on the floor. Position the
container as low as possible to extract as much water.
Remove
the filter by turning the knob counterclockwise and clean it. Also take
a moment to inspect the drain pump impeller by reaching it in with your
finger and turning it. The impeller should turn freely. Otherwise,
replace the drain pump. This Kenmore machine is made by Whirlpool and therefore troubleshooting is
basically the same. Click on link below for more detailed drain problem
troubleshooting.

Washer stops and there is a blinking display light
F35 is a water level error. This usually happens when the pressure switch malfunctions in the unit. If you remove the top panel by removeing the three screws along the rear and slideing the top panel towards the rear of the machine you will be able to access the pressure switch in the unit.If the unit is empty of water remove the hose and blow air into the hose backwards to clear any obstructions you should hear a crinkling of a can like sound from the pressure switch if the error doesnt clear after this you will have to replace the pressure switch in the unit. If you have any further questions message me back Thanks again Rick
Kenmore Elite he5t sounds like a jet engine
Ahh yes, hopefully it's less than a year old. This is likely the main bearing located within the plastic tub. If it has sounded like this for quite some time, you will need a few new parts. The plastic tub (or "tub kit") and the stainless steel drum (which includes the shaft that the bearing rotates on). When did you buy it? If its under a year old, labor will be warrantied with the parts, but the parts themselves should be under warranty as they have a 10 and 25 (or lifetime) year warranty each.
Good luck! We just had this fixed, but now have a new problem. the front button panel will not light up. :(
What does the pressure switch
It is in the top right side of the machine. You can access it by taking off the top lid of the washer. It is usually black with a brownish front with a wire in the front of it and a thin hose going into the bottom of the machine
Any way to bypass the W10156252 pressure switch?
No you cant bypass the switch. what it does is to stop the flow of water comming in to the washer.
if you short it out water will not turn off and it will overflow. it you open it up you will get no water.
Are you sure the switch is bad. A common problem is that the hose that it is attached to it gets plugged up. have you tried to blow through the hose to see if it is clear.
Hope this answers all your questions
