Not filling with water
Answer: The magnet goes on the back of the dispenser door. Pull entire dispenser out per instructions elsewhere in manual as if you were going to clean it. Turn it around so that you are looking at it from the back end. The magnet goes vertically on the very left edge (as you're looking at it, right edge when dispenser is in machine) of the back of the white outer cover of the dispenser about halfway down. If you run your finger along the left edge (the edge of the back of the dispenser) you will find a "cut out" area. The magnet goes immediately to the right of it between the edge and the portion of the dispenser that sticks further out toward you. There is a small clip to hold it in place.
I found instructions somewhere on the web similar to these that helped me locate it , but can't find it now to link or give credit. I have added some photos I took to help schematically challenged folks like myself.
PS If you need bifocals remove the front cover from the dispenser, take your glasses off and look at the far middle left of the back of the dispenser cover. It's really hard to see.
Kenmore he2 front load washer
Open the panel with 1/4 in socket. Turn white plastic cap filter counter clockwise. remove debris. replace. Run rinse and spin cycle. reopen cap and check for any new debris. replace filter cap and put cover back on. put $65 in bank. Send note to Eddie Lampert and tell him that Sears sucks and he'll never save it as long as they keep screwing their customers by not telling them about a simple fix like like this to an obviously common problem.

Remove the botton front panel and look at both sides towards the bottom. There are mini shock absorbers. Most likely, one is broken. They are only $16.99 each at Sears.com (part # 131268200). There is also a counterweight on the left side that may be invlolved. I just opened my washer and saw the counter weight laying loose on the floor. Not sure if DIYJim can tackle this job or not............
Excessive shaking and vibration when
Hello, Well if the machine is vibrating it is most likely because the feet on the bottom of the washer are not locked and are screwing themselves back up into the machine. If you have someone help you can slightly tip the washer up and adjust these feet by simply turning them to adjust them down or up. This can take a few adjustments to get the machine level. take a carpenters level and set it on the washer first from the front to back on one side of the washer and adjust the feet so it is level front to back. Then take the level and set it over the control panel to level it side to side(it will take a few times to get them all even and level). when the machine is level you will have to lock the feet by turning the nut that is on the leg up to the bottom of the washer and tighten them down to lock the legs so that they do not work themselves loose again. That should stop the vibration. Good luck and I hope that solves it!
Front load washer starts to aggetate but then shuts off and front door is leaking
Hello; As far as your machine shutting off it may need to be re leveled. Some Model,s have A cut off switch built in so when agaitator is spinning it will shut down so there is no more shaking that may break other part,s that are not in line/such as barrings/ seals Etc.Try to level your washer by adjusting the legs in each corner or maybe they could be not adjustable,in this case place A level from corner to corner on the top and have someone slide A piece of shingle under the corner that needs to be brought up so the bubble on your level is in the middle. This is A 2 Person job,if you still have the same issue you may have already broke the seal around the shaft and will need A repair person lets hope not.As far as the leak that may also be caused by it not being level and the door is not making A good seal. Also the seal around the door on A front loading Machine does wear out anyway so you may need to order on in.Be very careful with that leak because it could run back into the electrical components and hurt you very bad or burn out your Machine it is nothing to fool with on A front loading unit. But try to get it level first before you start spending money you may not have to spend. All the best and good luck.
Kenmore front loading washer won't drain or aggitate, just buzzes
