Wireless Internet is failing.

Hello,

There are many reasons why this might be happening.. You could try the following steps..
1) Disconnect the power from router for a minute and reconnect and check.
2) Try changing the wireless channel and Network name and try re-connecting.
3) Check if there is an firmware update for your product and update if any update is available.
4) If none of the above steps work you will need to reset and re-config your router. ( For that you need the CD given with the router and you will need the ISP settings.)
Hope this helped

How do you connect psp

Hello,

Looks like it might be an issue with the security type on the router. Try changing the security type and network name, it might work.
(P.S. you might need to re-connect all the wireless computers if the security key or network name is changed.)

Hope this helped.

Where do I find the

Hello cyndi0417.
If you have installed your router, and have a computer connected to it through one of the wired ports, you can follow these steps to find your WEP or WPA key.
Step 1.
Open a web browser of your choice, and in the address bar type in "192.168.2.1" (without the quotation marks).
Step 2.
Select "Login" from the upper right corner of the screen. Unless you have changed the administrator password, you can just click on the submit button.
Step 3.
Look under the "Wireless" heading on the left side of the page. There will be a selection for Security, which will contain the WEP or WPA settings. The numbers/letters in the boxes is your key.

  1. Connect the computer to one of the four LAN ports on the router.
  2. Open a web browser on the computer.
  3. In the address bar of the web browser, type http://192.168.2.1
  4. Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click Submit.

We just bought a Sony Blueray player with WiFi,

This is a very unusual occurrence, but nonetheless, I know the answer! I'm assuming that the security button randomly turned on, meaning that you don't know the password that it may have set, right? My recommendation is giving it a factory reset, meaning that it will set the router back to ALL default settings. To do this, all you need to do is get a thin pencil tip, or a pin, and press and hold down on the RESET button, which can be found on one of the side panels of the router, for slightly over TEN seconds, then after holding it down for about 10 seconds, it should reset itself back to normal, and the security will be disabled. You can set up security again by changing the settings on the router homepage, which by default is located at "192.168.2.1" just type that into your URL search bar in your internet browser.
