Change the password

Hopefully you have the setup disk that came with the D-link unit when you bought it. If not, order it from D-link. Next., put it in your computer and follow the setup procedure...you will be able to take care of the password at that time.

Have a D-Link 615 Router. Seems when one of us in on the Wifi, the other is unable to access the Wifi. Both of us have I-Pads. Why can't we access together? We used to about a week ago. What do

You should be able to , that begs the question, is youe ISP "throttling" the signal? Is there a problem with the equipment. inside or outside? Have you checked ALL cables, reseated ALL connections, rebooted the ISP Modem, the wireless device? Is the wireless Secured? As you move about the house is that when you lose connection? If you are sitting next to the D-Link will it stay connected? It may be outside? Contact your ISP and have them analyze the signal, have a ISP tech come out and analyze.

Lost wifi password

Reset the device by pushing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds or so, release. This will reset to default settings. Reconfigure SSID and Security. You may want to write down the password for future use. This may help: ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/dir615_revC/Manual/dir615_revC_manual_300.pdf

What is the inside of a d-link power supply?

Most likely you have damaged not only the power supply but also the D-Link wireless router unless the power adapter is a multi-voltage power adapter. Check the label on the power adapter and if the input voltage is a fixed 110 volt power supply you are in trouble. You can try getting a 110v power adapter and connect it into the D-Link and if it works then you are lucky.

My D-link router (dir 615) saying is connected but have no internet access

Wired or wireless? Check all cables, have you tried to connect with a Ethernet cable to the ISP modem, if it connects, try connecting via the cable to the D-link. Work you way through the devices one by one.If it connects via the cable, it's the computer's wireless adapter. Will other computers connect? Or contact your ISP to verify the signal, have a tech come out to analyze the signal. It may be outside. It's happened before, to me.

I just want to set up an internal network with dlink router

To setup a network just follow the step by step guide that came with the DIR-615 router. When it comes to setting up the internet on the router wizard just select Cable or DHCP and leave the other internet settings as default. As regards to your printer we need to know the make and model number so we could further assist you. By knowing the make and model of the printer it will help us how to best setup your printer on the network. The model number is usually the name of the printer or near barcodes on the back or bottom of the printer.

you can ask virgin media to strengthen the range the wifi can reach I think the cost$ of router/wifi is dependent on its speed and range

Wifi connection

Do you need a password? In Network and Sharing go to Manage Wireless Networks, Do you se your SSID for your wireless access point? Hightlight and remove, reboot your laptop, you will have to choose your SSID and re-enter your password. If that fails do a cold start on your laptop: unplug, remove battery, hold on/off button 10 seconds, replace battery, plug in start normally.

Access thru 192.,168.0.1

That IP is internal only, and has no effect on anybody but you and your router. Local Network means same internal network, and not connecting via the cloud (out there in the internet). Instead, set up virtual server session under advance settings in the routers web interface. This will allow access through the routers firewall. You will have to do some fine tuning since I am not familiar with the games LAN access requirements.
