How can we fix the vitiation, noise, and movement on a front loader that was just moved to another home?

These units spin at a high RPM. With just a few clothes, especially jeans and sweat items, the drum is off balance and therefore will have the above symptoms. These newer units weren't designed to run just a few items. It's a full load or nothing. It's an energy conservation thing.

Your water level switch is bad. Take 3 screws off the back, lift cover move toward the back You will find a small a small black tube going to a small box, that is your water level switch. The part number should be on it. Should be FSP then the number. If you have trouble call a service tech.

"Shock Absorber" wear?

A lot of people convince themselves that the shock absorbers are causing the problem, but that is rarely the case. if you remove one of them, you will find that they are actually two pieces, and only provide some compression cushioning as the barrel moves around. a little bit of grease might help them a little. Do make sure that they are all connected and positively secured in place, as they sometimes look connected correctly but actually aren't, which can cause problems.

In my experience the problem is that the base, over time, begins to amplify the vibrations of the machine. It is after all, a top-heavy setup. Try putting the machine directly on the floor and see if that does the trick (get help, it's heavy)

This dryer won't start

there are thermostats that will pop if the dryer runs to hot,a dryer needs to be pulled apart at least once a year to be cleaned out,all it does is move air,if the vent line is blocked or lint builds up in the duct that the lint filter slides into the thermal fuse or high limit thermostat will pop as a safety,if you don't clean the dryer and vent line the new part will pop again.also the door switch could be broke or the belt could have snapped, some dryers have a safety switch,if the belt snaps the switch will open and the dryer won't start.so first thing you'll need a meter, unplug the dryer, remove the bottom panel, pull out the lint filter, remove the metal duct that the filter slides into,on the top of the blower wheel housing you'll see a white part, this is the thermal fuse, you have to remove at least one of the wires, check it with the meter,if you send the full model number i can look up your dryer, most likely the fuse will be a 3392519 thermal fuse, like i said if the fuse is bad you have to clean out the dryer and vent line or the fuse will pop again.and check the door switch, open the door, push the switch in and out if it makes a clicking sound most likely it's good.let me know what you find and send model number.

Flashes LOC and won't start

The solution to the "LOC" error depends on many factors, including which Elite model machine you own and the cause of the error. If your machine has an "Options" and a "Select" button, try pressing and holding these for five seconds to clear the locking error. You can also try unplugging the machine for five minutes and then plugging it back in.

I have a Kenmore 8o series model 11024892 washer. How do I remove the very right hand control knob so I can get behind the front panel to replace a part?

If this is a top loading machine; remove the trim strips on the left and right ends of the dash. Then you'll see a screw at the bottom of each corner(left and right). remove (AND KEEP) the screws. Now the dash will lift and fold back.

Checking the Drain Pump on Kenmore Elite Front Loader

This advice is for Kenmore Elite and Whirlpool Duet model FRONT LOADING washing machines. If you experience a problem where the washer does not drain properly or the drain pump makes excessive noise, here’s the information you need to check the drain pump:

Symptom: PUMP IS RUNNING, BUT NOT DRAINING PROPERLY.

  1. Unplug the washer while servicing inside the unit.
  2. Remove the lower kick panel under the door by removing the three 7mm screws under the bottom edge of the panel. HINT: Use a couple of blocks of wood to prop up the front feet of the washer to gain better access to the screws. Once the screws are removed the panel should drop down, and then pull off. If the panel becomes stuck, a slight tap on either side will dislodge it.
  3. Locate the drain pump. It will be located directly under the wash tub (it is the only pump this washer has).
  4. There is an access removal cover on the pump that can be removed to clean out the trap. BEFORE doing this, it is strongly recommended that you remove all residual water from the wash tub & drain line or you will have about a gallon or so inside your washer and on the floor to clean up.
  5. Here’s a helpful way of quickly removing the residual water. If you own a wet/dry shop vac, remove the drain hose from the standpipe at the wall and pull a vacuum with the shop vac. This will empty the wash tub, pump and drain lines. If you don’t own a shop vac, grab a bunch of old towels and open the access on the pump slowly so that it comes out at a trickle. Allow the towels to soak up the majority of the water. Close the access and stop the water if you need to get additional towels.
  6. Open the pump access and remove once you have all the water drained. Check the drain pump for foreign objects and debris. Check the pump impeller and make sure there’s nothing caught in it. Items as small as toothpicks or cotton swabs have been known to stop this pump from working.
  7. Clean out the pump thoroughly and reinstall the access cover. Make sure the cover is snug, but do not over tighten.
  8. Place the drain hose back in the standpipe (IMPORTANT – DO NOT FORGET!).
  9. With the bottom panel still off, plug the washer back in and select the following on the operator console – DRAIN SPIN, NO SPIN, and then press any button under OPTIONS 4 times (it must be the same button). “C00” will show on the console display as the washer begins diagnostics mode.
  10. Check the drain pump for leaks as the washer fills. The pump is gravity filled and will hold water even it is not pumping. Allow washer to run through diagnostics until it begins the wash tub tumble cycle.
  11. At this point, you can stop the diagnostics procedure by pressing PAUSE/CANCEL 2 times. The drain pump energizes and the washer will begin to drain.
  12. If the drain pump works normal and there are no leaks detected, reinstall the bottom panel and tighten screws.

NOTE: It is normal to have residual water left inside the wash tub under the wash basket. This is why it is important to leave the door ajar when not in use so this water does not become sour.

Either the cylenoid to let the water in is bad. Or the hose from the dispenser to the drum is clogged. Most common with powder detergents. Some really hot water poured into the dispenser may solve the problem.

Check to see if the water is hot when it's pumped out, if it's not then your heater element may need replaced, if it is then the temp sensor may be the fault. :)

Code SUD and F35

The F35 error code indicates a problem with the analog pressure sensor, air hose or air trap. If the hose and trap are good you will need to replace the pressure sensorThe "Sud" error code indicates too much or the wrong kind of laundry soap was used. Be sure to use only HE (high efficiency) detergent on this model of washer. Please see the links provided below for access instructions & other troubleshooting tips covering the error codes displayed:- Link 1- Link 2Hope this helps (remember to rate this free answer and leave some testimonial).

Why does the code F35 keep showing on the machine

Have you pulled the drain filter out? It is located beneath the door behind the lower panel. Remove the lower panel to access it. Once you see it put a bucket on the floor to catch the water if any comes out. The filter just unscrews. We want to make certain there is nothing trapped in there preventing the water from draining.
