You should be able to delete from the Voice Note Recorder screen. If it keeps playing, hit Stop to get it to stop playing, then hit the BlackBerry button and choose Delete.

How to uninstall apps on a BlackBerry Tour

Uninstalling an application from a BlackBerry Tour is a simple process that only takes a few minutes. First, find the app's icon. (By default, this icon will be located in the Downloads folder unless you've moved it.) Move the trackball over the icon and press the BlackBerry button (the one with seven dots to the left of the trackball). From the menu, select Delete.

A confirmation window will appear asking if you're sure you want to delete the program. Select Delete again. You'll see a message that says, "Deletion will occur when handheld is restarted," and you'll be prompted to reboot your BlackBerry. If you choose Yes, the phone will shut off and go through the cold boot process -- just like if you'd pulled out the battery. It may take several minutes for the device to fully boot back up, but when it does, the application will be deleted.

If you choose not to restart at that time, the application's icon will be removed from the folder, but the application itself will remain on your BlackBerry until you perform a cold boot (turn the BlackBerry off, pull out the battery, then reinstall it and turn the phone back on).

Even after you've completed the uninstall process, the application's files will still remain stored on your BlackBerry. You can find and delete these files by navigating through the BlackBerry's file system. In your Home folder, select Media and then press the BlackBerry button. Choose Explore, and you'll see two options: Media Card and Device Memory. Select Media Card, then continue down the folder tree by selecting BlackBerry, then app_world, then downloads.

The next folder will have a name that's a combination of letters and numbers, which is your BlackBerry's PIN. Select this folder, and you'll see a subfolder with the name of the application you just deleted. (If you have more applications installed, there will be folders with their names here as well.) Press the BlackBerry button and choose Delete to get rid of the folder, which is only taking up space and isn't necessary anymore since you've already uninstalled the application. If there are other applications here that you've previously deleted, you can erase their files too to free up more space.

After a battery pull this

Try using the re-set button. It is under or near the battery. You might need a paper clip to fit in the re-set hole. If not see your provider.

Tour speaker doesn't work. No ringtone/sms chime

Hello

1. The first step you need to take is to pull the battery and that will clear up the problem temporary.

2. It will come back, there is a bug in the phone that prevents the speaker from working if a certain type of sound file is interrupted.

3. There is another quick fix, activate Voice Activated Dialing... that will release the speaker too.

4. After trying all this and it does not work then you would have to take it back for replacement or repair.
BEST OF LUCK

I was downloading an update to my color id app and

I had the same problem and went searching online for a solution. You need to start your blackberry on safe mode and uninstall the application.

To boot up your BlackBerry Tour in Safe Mode, perform the following steps:
1. Take the battery out of the device.
2. Place the battery back in the device.
3. While restarting, press and hold the Escape key (the one with the arrow).
4. A screen will appear telling you that you are in Safe Mode. Select OK and troubleshoot the issue.

There are different versions of how long you have to hold the Escape key while the phone is restarting, so I just held it through the whole boot up time. It took a few minutes, but it's worth it.

How to pair a Plantronics Explorer 245 Bluetooth headset and a BlackBerry Tour

The Plantronics Explorer 245 headset can be paired with most Bluetooth-capable phones and smartphones to enable hands-free phone conversations. To pair the headset with a BlackBerry Tour, follow the steps below:

Make sure the Plantronics headset is off before trying to pair the two devices. On your BlackBerry, scroll down to Manage Connections (the antenna icon) in your Home folder and click the trackball. From the list of connections, select Set Up Bluetooth. The Add Device box will appear, asking if you want to search or listen for a Bluetooth device.

At this point, turn your Explorer 245 on by sliding the on/off switch toward the microphone end of the earpiece. Once the device powers on (if you have it in your ear, you'll hear a few short tones) you should see repeating red and blue flashes from the LED lights on the side of the headset. If you only see blue flashes, hold down the call button (the side button) for a few seconds, until the lights start flashing red then blue.

Now, on your Tour, select Search. Bluetooth will be enabled if it's not already, and then the BlackBerry will search for nearby devices. When the headset appears on the list of devices found (it should read "245Plantronics" or something similar) select it. A box will appear letting you know that pairing is now complete, and asking if you want to connect to the headset. Select Yes.

Your BlackBerry Tour and Explorer 245 are now paired. If at any point you turn the headset off, turn the BlackBerry off, or turn the BlackBerry's Bluetooth feature off, the two devices will automatically reconnect when they are able. When you look at your list of paired devices on the BlackBerry, the Explorer headset will appear in bold to show that it is currently connected.

Do you let it sit for a while when you reboot? Sometimes after a battery pull or when the BlackBerry needs to restart, it can take upwards of five or six minutes before it comes back up, during which time you'll see that little spinning clock, and possibly the BlackBerry logo as well.

Blackberry tour 9630 out of warranty cannot hear

Unfortunately, you'll probably have to pay as much or more to get your BlackBerry fixed than you would to purchase a new phone. You could also buy a Bluetooth headset for around $40 that would bypass your phone's internal speaker, and then you wouldn't have to get a new phone.

Hope that helps!
