We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Networkremote to control your Sylvania TV. We're going to start by pressing and holding the TVbutton located on the top of your remote until all mode button back lights comeon, and then release. Most problems are due to bad DC filter caps in the power supply module, that will be the first place to look.

Hmmmmm.......My ratings are slipping so this will require a serious answer! The solution I will give you will be of most accuracy. Your power supply startup resistors are are bad. These are located on the inverter board. Replace the inverter board or if you are up to it replace R603,604, and 605 with 390K quarter watt resistors. If the values are different or the same as mentioned, use the values I just told you! If they look fine or test fine...replace them with the value just mentioned!!!!!! Anyway!!!!!! Take this info to a TV tech and show him your answer. Thanks for asking me!

Targa 32" LCT TV, No picture/ sound only can hear clicking sound from Kisan KP-301R Power supply board. Have checked output voltages and they are a little out i.e. 16v instead of 17.5v and 10.5v instead of 12v.

Has SAMWHA capacitors but cannot see any bulging or leakage anywhere like other users have suffered so dont know if changing all the caps will solve the issue.

Before it finally went dead LCD TV would switch itself off after some time and just a few days before it dies it started the clicking sound but would then start up okay.

Whenever I hear "green screen" it is a loose or faulty HD cable(s).

Check your HD connections to make sure they are inserted fully and if there is no change, try an alternate cable.

maybe or maybe not. It is a pixel that is stuck 'on' all the time. Not a warranty claim item as a few bad pixels are allowed.....

It does not spread, but that is not to say that another pixel somewhere else on the screen will not go bad.

Is there a box from the cable company? If so, you will need to tune the TV to the channel that the box outputs it's signal on. Usually it's either channel 3 or 4. Whether you have a cable box or not, make sure in the set-up menu for the TV, that you have selected "cable" not "air" as your signal source. Write if you need anymore assistance.

No, because screen casting wasn't invented and it isn't a Smart television. Time for a new one.
