Rca opal 4gb M4304-A has completely stopped functioning
Wow, I didn't realize so many people were having the same problem I was having. First try re-installing the firmware for it. Since your computer won't recognize it you will need to download the software, then you will have 2 boxes pop up. One is the install instructions and the other is the actual program install. You will have to hold down the play button on your player while you plug it into the computer. DO NOT RELEASE THE BUTTON UNTIL THE PROGRAM SAYS "INITIALIZING".
It should work fine once you do this. I spent 3 hours going through RCA's website before I came across this step.

I have an RCA mp3
If the MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could
be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and
discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e.
won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery
won't charge up at all.
OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected
the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time.
If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery
needs to be replaced.

You'll need to use iTunes to convert the song to an MP3 file instead of its default AAC format file.
In iTunes, right-mouse click on the song that you purchased using iTunes and select "Create MP3 Version".
You can then place the MP3 version of the music file on your MP3 player.

and download the Media Manager software. Manuals and tutorials are there, too.
Also a copy of the easyRIP software is on the device itself, so you should be able to install without a download.
I assume you are tying to move a video file from a PC on to the M4304?

My rca mp3 player cant powered up so what can i do
You should check:
--> Battery is empty.
--> Ensure the keys lock is not activated.
--> Reset the player by pressing and holding MENU for more than 10 seconds.
--> If the player still cannot be turned on after resetting, perform a firmware upgrade to restore it.
In this case go to www.rcaaudiovideo.com for more details.
Good luck!
