First check your lens and make sure it is clean. Second, try taking a photo outside in daylight using your timer, with your camera sitting on a solid stable surface. If the photos are still blurry, try setting your camera options to factory default and redo the same test. If the photos are still blurry, I would suspect the camera is defective.

Sensor fail

If the camera is under warranty I'd take it in to get it repaired. Could be a failed light sensor. Nothing you can fix unless you are an electrical engineer.

Wont turn on.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Is there a vidio cam on this vivicam

There is. It's not a particularly good one, compared to a dedicated video camera. It also does not record sound. You can add a soundtrack using video editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on this camera.

No flash

Make sure you're not in the macro mode. There's a slide switch on the end of the camera, near the USB socket. Set this switch to the mountain position. Also bear in mind that the flash is for still photos only, not for videos.

Do i need a charger

The 8018 uses standard AAA batteries. If you use disposable batteries then you don't need a charger. If you use rechargeable batteries then you do need a charger as the camera does not charge batteries.
