how do i turn on my flash on my vivitar vivicam 8025
When you turn the camera on and you are on the main screen, use the last touch screen button at the bottom marked with a lighting bold. If you hit it it once, the flash is automatic, if you hit it twice it is always on.

my vivitar vivicam 8025 doesnt have sound
I've read on yahoo answers that there is no mic in the 8025. So no sound for video. I know, it sucks.

Just purchased a Vivitar 8025. When I turn it on I get a blue screen with MSDC . How do I clear this?
You should only get that screen when it's charging on the wall charger or when it is hooked up to your computer via the USB cord.

my camera says msdc on it in white and it wont let me do anything. i cant get past the screen with the msdc on it.
i keep geting msdc on blue screen on my viviar 8025 vivicam can you help thanks mal

vivitar 8025 comes up with msdc in blue when connected to my pc via usb any solution
It's supposed to do that, informing you that it's in mass storage mode. Once connected you control it from the computer, not the camera.

what does msdc mean? Camera is not doing anything.
i have the same camera and the same problem but i have found out msdc means mass storage device, for the camera to work you have to have a memory card inside it. im getting one tomorrow for mine, so hopefully that should solve the problem :)

Opened ViviCam 8025 package and annempted to load Image Manager. CD prepares to install and allows me to select the model 8025, but I continue to receive the message that it can't load:
Can't connect to web site
Domain name can't be found
Try again later
Problem has occurred.
Etc.
Any suggestions on how to load software so I can use camera?

how do you charge a Vivitar Camera?
According to the manual, your Vivicam 8025 is supplied with a charger, but the battery will also charge via the USB cable when the camera is connected to a computer. Need the manual? You can download/print it here:

How do i turn Macro mode off my vivitar digital camera?
There's a slide switch on the left of the camera near the USB port. Slide it away from the flower and toward the mountain.

I have a vivicam 8025 camera , I just ordered a new Vivicam camera charger, I plugged it in and there is a red light, and the MSDC screen is up, what does the MSDC screen mean ? and what does the red light mean ? Thankks(:
The MSDC indicates that the camera has recognized it's connected to a computer.
The red light indicates that the camera's battery is charging.
