Make sure the phone is on so that you can enter the appropriate code. The unlock code is *#865625#.

• Entering the code

The phone needs to be on for you to enter the appropriate code. You will need to keep the SIM card in the phone so that it recognizes the phone's unlock code. Enter *#865625#. The screen will then ask you if you want to continue. Select yes.

• Second code

You need to enter the code a second time. So basically, just repeat the first steps mentioned to enter the unlock code given above. Once the code has been entered a second time the screen should read that the 'Network Unlock is Deactivated'. The code and the unlock work for the GSM network, meaning that if you want to use the phone with a different service provider you are now able to.

• Other unlock

Sometimes one does not want to unlock the phone for GSM network use, but because the keypad is locked. If you have locked the keypad and this is what you want to unlock try the last four digits of the phone number. This is often the default code for the number pad. If that number is unsuccessful consider what you might have personally used as a four digit pin. Most of us use the same number that belongs to our ATM or other device that requires a four digit pin. Check the settings if the rotation is enabled.If it is, you might have to open it and make sure the sensor works or bring it to a repair shop, incase something breaks while opening.

This could be for several reasons,

1. The replacment screen is not genuine Samsung product
2. The screen comes with a protection sticker on both sides, chances are the one on the inside is still on.

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.
