I cant get my self cleaning oven to unlock... what
Unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes.
Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently
try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
or
Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15
minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try
moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
If these
procedures fail to correct the condition, the lock must usually be accessed and
moved manually to open the door.
Some model
ovens require the oven door to be manually unlatched before the controls are
returned to the OFF position or else the door may not be able to be unlocked.
Check the owner's manual for proper operating procedures.
F7 error code and beeping
The F7 error code indicates a stuck button on the keypad. If the control will not reset, you will have to replace the keypad control panel.-------------
Check properly if any of the button just remained pressed and not coming in level of other panel buttons. But if all panel buttons look fine and set properly, then its faulty keypad control panel, it has to be replaced.----------

This will help. Thanks. Helpmech.
Baking in the oven, and
The oven will come back on if power is restored. However just turn oven selector switch if applicable to the off position. If it is all electronic then it will automatically reset and not turn on when power is restored. If you need an absolute guarantee to to the breaker panel and turn off the breaker that feeds the range receptacle.
How do I clean Kenmore
Hi,Before you go working too hard to get you oven to go intothe self clean mode(self destruct)....check out this tip...
Self Cleaning Oven Problemheatman101 " Wish I had read this first. I never would have used the self cleaningoption. Thanks for the info!!
HAVE A E1 F2 MESSAGE. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
F2-E1 - Touch Pad (Keypad) Cable Unplugged -
Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.
It appears your timer/clock has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.$$$$
F3-error. Kenmore classic oven
Hello there:
Whenever you get the dreaded f-3 code this is the code that tells you that the temperature sensor is going bad or already has gone bad and needs to be replaced immediatly. It should look something like this and cost about 50 dollars
The oven will not heat up
Hi
This means a
loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the
door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and
should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
Daniel
